AVCHD/MTS free converter

Hello!

I have been looking for the FREEWARE / FREE application which let me convert
AVCHD/MTS files into AVI files, but without result.
Previosuly I installed VirtualDubMod but it gives me the error and I cannot
convert it.

Do you know some other software which let me do this? Of cours it has to be
free.

I found the solution. I will do this by Pinnacle 12 Ultimate, which I own.
Thank you anyway for help

MP4Cam2AVI is on GPL licence so it`s free to use, but I had problem with
converting
from AVCHD to AVI.

I really apprieciate it

Hi there:
Frankly, I am familar with VirtualDubMod, a freeware with limited
conversion functions. I've used this converter to convert MKV files, but
the result makes me disappointed. Presently, I often hear people asking
the question on how to convert MTS to AVI. As it known that AVI is a
prevailing container format supported by most media players or portable
devices.
Okay, how to convert MTS to AVI? After many tests by myself, there is a
converter called *Moyea MTS Converter* is very excellent in converting
MTS to other regular formats like AVI, WMV, MP4, MOV, and etc.
Furthermore, this converter features built-in codec which will not
install any codec on your computer in order to avoid the unexpected
codec issues.

video/audio to other popular video/audio formats for its high fast
