If it's with Google Groups, it just means that 197 people are subscribed
using their service. It doesn't mean that they're actively viewing the
group.
Obviously, I'm still here.
I still check for new posts and read the group (not with Google).

I didn't sign in with Google, I lurk ;-) CIA
I suppose the converse is true, too...it doesn't mean that there
aren't just as many people/lurkers here who don't use Google.
(Three negatives in one sentence! I hope that I said what I meant to
say or, better yet, you can figure out what it is that I meant to
say.)
Rock on, les vieux.

I drop by regularly, just to see who is really still here. Does that count?
Don H.
PS: I do believe I've posted, too, in the last few months. Now there's a
relief.
When's your next book coming out? It seems like a long while since the
last. Need any more inspiration for villains' names?

Grebbsy,
Any inspiration, whatever the subject, is much appreciated!
Not sure when my next one will be out in a language I can read (that would
be English of a sort), but the latest will be published by Cherche Midi in
Paris in May. In French. Wouldn't you know?
Anyway, it's set in London, so I hope that my publisher there (4th
Estate-Harper Collins) will push some out the door.
I tried to reach you last time I was over, but had no luck at all. I did
manage to see Rachel Coldbreath and Julian Richards. Spent about fifteen
days skulking about, looking for good places to kill somebody. My God, you
can't turn a corner in London without finding one of those. Lovely place!
I certainly appreciated your help with Code 61. Also the time in the pub...
Inspiring as well!

Oh, rats! Would have been good to see you again... though ironically I'm
spending a good deal of my time in Wisconsin rather than London at the
moment. This email address will reach me sooner or later, though...

Ah, Wisconsin, my neck of the woods...almost. Don't stay there too late in
the year, or you'll freeze solid!
Don H.
Oh, wow! Grebbsy's in Wisconsin. I live in Wisconsin. Are you anywhere
around Milwaukee?
Every now and again I stick my head in here to see what's going on.
