I, VAMPIRE: TRILOGY OF BLOOD

Features three Subspecies-related movies, each one
pitifully cut. The first story, "Spawn of Hell," is a retelling
of Subspecies IV: "Bloodstorm", reduced to 28 minutes. The third
story "Evil Dead" is a short retelling of "Vampire Journals"
(1997). The second story, "From the Grave," was a surprise, a
movie that I'd not yet discovered, a summary of "Vampire
Resurrection" aka "Song of the Vampire" (2001) in which
Denice Duff (Michelle) both directs and stars. It's not
related in any way to Subspecies, but Duff's direction,
appearance, and the movie's feeling can only be described as
"Subspecies-related". It prompted me to get a copy of "Vampire
Resurrection." For Subspecies fans, however, I would recommend
seeing the full-length movies and skipping this summarizing
trilogy.
