Me? I just sold out the last part of my company and my nephew now runs the
whole damn thing! He has his MCSE and A+ now and I can "try" to keep up
with him, but this old DOS man just wants to play on the computer; spend
time in the kitchen cooking; traveling (with or without girfriend), and
trying to clean up this mess we call a condo.
Meanwhile I meet with a realtor I know well in SCA next week, and begin the
process of retiring the family one by one.
If Fatass is doing the same in TN, more power to him. And whether Berman
likes it or not, we will be neighbors eventually, so I say he learns to live
with it now.

Seems Comptia is getting a little tougher and more thorough. When I took
it, they grilled me on laser printers as well. According to HP, once I
passed the A+ I was also certified with HP.
Tell me something Chuckie? Where did you graduate college, vocational
school, trade school or even a class? Show me some accomplisments, degrees,
etc? You have none.

I think the problem is that you are confusing commands issued from the
command line in Windows with DOS. Since you've thoroughly
demonstrated your knowledge of computers is at the basic user level
this does not suprise me.
So why is a guy in his mid-50s worrying about a pissant certification
like an A+? If you are really "the boss" of your company then you
should have bigger things on your mind. I suspect it's just a
desperate attempt for you to find someplace to hire you.

to Simi Valley. I am keeping my office in Panorama City and doing other
projects including more time in commerical real estate and do a few seminars
up north and basically just enjoying life.
And oh yes, I will be back in Las Vegas sometime in April in SCA.
I suggest you recheck your facts. Two of my nephew's buddies just took the
A + exam and also were hit with questions regarding 486's and Windows 3.1.
I am only telling you what they told me.
As far as A+ and MCSE, well I make no bones about the fact that the past 3-4
years, I have been the least qualified guy in the office. One of the
reasons I am finally selling it all to my nephew is quite frankly I don't
have to work that hard any more and I don't want to work hard anymore. But
I always did want to pass the last two MCSE courses so what the heck.
I have no debt excpet for the loan on the commercial property in Las Vegas
we invested in this summer. I pay my credit cards in 30 days, and my
girlfriend is also very prudent with her money.
My vice is travel but my girlfriend would rather read a book on a vacation.
I learned the hard way in 2005 that she is most definately not a RV person!
While in Ixtapa last month she mostly relaxed and read a book! My younger
nephew came with me to NY instead of her.
