When I was on the receiving end of LVMPD complaint mail I received one
from some uptight cat in Salt Lake City who wanted the cops to look in on
a couple who were running some bisexual swing club out of their house. I
had to wonder exactly what this guy was googling to "discover" such things.
The best was the series of letters from the woman who know that Metro was
hiding in her walls and roof. She said she could recognize them from their
ninja outfits. She wasn't upset that they were there, just that they
smoked and would leave tracks on her carpet when they would raid the
fridge in her absence.

Mrs. Nonny and I decided that we needed to go on a diet about 6 weeks
ago. Both of us carried a few extra pounds from too many smoked ribs,
pulled pork butt sandwiches, fried livers/gizzards and many other foods
that make it worthwhile waking up in the morning. It was especially
difficult this past weekend, because we had some cruise friends from the
newsgroup rec.travel.cruises here in town visiting, and I cooked up a
storm for the visit.
The good news is that we ate the same food as the others, but in very
strong moderation. Today was weigh-in day for us and we both continued
our gradual decline. I'm down from 230 to 214 this morning and Mrs.
Nonny is . . . "pleased" . . .with her loss as well. I graduated from
high school at 190, was 200 in college and when married, so my guess is
that about 205-210 would be a fair weight for me 40 years or so later.
The fun part is breaking out the 36-32 jeans again and being able to
button them. <grin>
