Credit Card Slots

I have heard rumors that there are slots in Vegas that will actually accept
a swipe from your Visa or Mastercard. Now, I have NO INTEREST in these
myself, but the idea sounds completely insane! So, I must know, do these
exisit??

pops up as credits. Then you sit there clicking away and walk out
the door 20 thousand dollars in debt a half hour later. You cover
that with a home equity loan, and end up losing your house.

I got all my money back after paying the real estate commissions.
But that was the problem. Living in it I constantly was thinking how
this or that would effect re-sale value. That made it hard to relax.
Now as a renter, I can do anything to the joint and don't have to
give a damn. AND, somebody else cuts the grass, picks up the trash,
paints the place, fixes what goes broke and all the other hassle
items homeowners have to deal with.
The housing bubble will have burst 18 months from now and maybe I'll
buy something cheap at that time. Or maybe not.
I recall somebody on this ng posting last September about how housing
prices would have fallen by March 2002. That person was wrong. That
person underestimated the second mortgage, home equity loan business
marketing.
I think Vegas is an extremely BAD place to buy property BTW. In
exchange for 200k you get a shoddily constructed stick built cracker
box and 360 payments you have to make.
This is NOT a good deal folks. Vegas is a great place to visit, but
you'd be crazy to live here if you had to work.

Yessieee folks.
Bill is SANE and 1.5 MILLION people are crazy!
Bill says renting is smart and OWNING is DUMB.
This from a guy who doesn't EAT unless a coupon is involved. who
thinks people who gamble are stupid, but who gambles EVERY DAY.
Metinks someone let an inmate of the crazy house out WAY too early.
Must be government budget cuts......
