Hi All, Agent 5.0/32.1171 When receiving text in HTML mail it renders correctly such as:- Sentence one running on to sentence two running on etc. However when highlighting selected text and "R" reply, the text renders in the window as :- "Sentence one running on to sentence two running on etc." (i.e. one long line across the width of my screen).... more »

I've used Agent for a long time for Usenet. It was often behind other programs as far as it's ability to handle html and files was concerned but I like it better than any other program. Recently I wanted to create a posting with an attached picture. I clicked in the editor window on the "Attachments..." button and attached the file. Using Agent 5, just tonite I'm seeing new behavior. When I try to make a new NG post or reply to an NG post a tab opens up that seems to indicate the presence of a new "document", but there is no place to type anything. e.g. [link] Have I fat-fingered some setting to get the tabbed presentation?... more »

Major differences between 4 & 5?

I've got agent 4.2 and am trying to decide if I want to move up to 5. It's been almost a year, even tho its still ',0' I figure it's probably stable. What are the major differences between 4.2 & 5? does it do a better job at html? thats one of the primary things I want.

I'm trying to filter out mass malware postings that all have the same line lengths -- in this case 2732 lines. In the Add Usenet Filter window, in the filter expression field, I put [2732,2732]. Lost the dates of post subjects

Suddenly I can no longer display the date (to the right) of subjects within each news group. Even when I shrink Agent's window. How do I manage the header bar (if that is what it is called) so I can see what I want to see? I see nothing in the 'helps' on the subject, nor to I see any 'tool' that deals with this.
