Un Keeping a message

For some reason I have a message in my Drafts folder marked Keep and I
can't delete it for that reason.

How may I remover the 'Keep' so that I can delete it?

Highlight the message. Press K.

...Hint, poke around in the action bar menu, great way to find out what
actions are available (almost any of them can be assigned to a toolbar
button, and many have keyboard shortcuts that are listed in the menu...

For example, if you look under Message, you see Keep listed there with K
as the shortcut, plus plenty of other actions for messages...
