I haven't been able to find a setting to change this behavior; can
anyone guide me to it? Or perhaps the behavior has not changed, but I
sure think it has.
Thanks
I don't think you are right, it has always gone to the browser for me and
that seems to be the right behaviour. Why launch it if you don't want to
look at it?

Tsk tsk. An Agent reader, of all things, thinking there's only HIS
way.
I launch a lot of reading material from Agent and go to the browser at
my leisure, sometimes much later.
Since my previous post, I have notced that the bahavior varies.
Perhaps it is browser dependent.
Sorry I'm so late responding, Jim. Just want you to know that I often
use Agent that way too: double-clicking several links and viewing them
in my browser later -- after I've finished reading my email and usenet.
My browser usually gets the focus each time I open a link, but not
always. Using Firefox 2.0.0.4

If you are using Firefox 2.0.0.4, then to keep the focus on Agent
you need this combination of settings in Firefox and in Agent.
1. In Firefox 2.0.0.4, at Tools -> Options -> Tabs,
you need these settings
New Pages should be opened in
(•) A new tab
[ ] When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately <-- NOT checked
2. Firefox has to be already running when you launch the URL from Agent.
(If Firefox is not running, then the focus will move from Agent to Firefox.)
3. Agent has to use DDE to pass the URL to Firefox (already running).
The simplest way to make Agent use DDE here, is to make these
settings in Agent.
3.1 Go to Tools -> Options -> URL and MIME settings -> URL Types
3.2 In the "URL" drop down list, select "http" as the URL type
3.3 While "http" is selected, make these settings
[x] Enable highlighting and launching
[ ] Remove URL prefix when launching <-- NOT checked
-----How to launch the URL-----
(•) Use Custom settings (below)
-----Custom Settings-----
Application: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" "%1" <-- use correct path
[x] Use DDE
DDE Message: } Copy these settings from the help file's
Application: } settings for Firefox.
Topic: } Click the "help" button and scroll down
Method: } in the help file.
