Yes. Graffiti artists are so careless these days. <sigh>

On the wall of a shop in Gosnells, Western Australia (a
suburb of Perth) there is the following bit of graffiti:

"Chloe is a slut but she has big tits."

Is the author implying that sluts normally have small tits?

Or should I infer that he(1) is merely tempering criticism
with praise?

Are there other possible interpretations of this message?

And should there be a comma after "slut"?

The latter, I'd think.

Criticism? Why should "big tits" be a criticism?

No. There should be a telephone number, though.

Is there a "sem" at all? In any case "per" governs the accusative and "se"
is the accusative of the reflexive pronoun (se, sui, sibi, se).

Sorry -- it was an attempt at a joke, connected with the recent
gender-neutral pronoun discussions (the suggested forms being 'se',
'sem', 'ses', 'semself').

Polar, so far I've treated you as the harmless, cowardly, paranoid,
hysterical, airheaded Dizzy Dame that you are. But your above
accusation is downright nasty and doubly repulsive coming from a
hypocritical bitch who's always so "sensitive" and concerned about the
feelings of others.

Not *one* of us -- and I dare to speak for all the AUEers who think
that Ms. Donovan can be an overbearing, arrogant, know-it-all
pain-in-the-ass -- would *ever* wish that anything negative should
happen to TD.

You, on the other hand, deserve to get the running shits for six months

Do the words "fucking asshole" strike a chord? "Backstabbing" is what
Polar did by writing a nasty e-mail about Ms. Donovan to someone but
posted it by mistake to AUE. We fellows who joke *openly* and
*publicly* in AUE about TD are not sneaky, backstabbing cunts like Polar
or fucking backstabbing assholes like Me-Me Cunt, who doesn't know the
meaning of "backstabbing" despite being a professional backstabber
herself.

I would like to speculate that the reason she isn't posting these days is
related to the current state of this newsgroup. Did her reply give any such
connection that you could share here?

It would be a really sad thing if we lost her from this newsgroup because of the
flamewars. The behavior on this group has driven away so many interesting
people! Those of you who participate in such should be very ashamed of
yourselves.

Speculations are often wrong. Only Ms. Donovan knows for sure why she
is not posting *here*. She's posting to at least one other group, and
just as snottily as ever.

The current state of AUE is boring, as compared with previous months,
and is not the reason. Besides, TD herself engaged in verbal wars with
at least five other AUEers. The reason why she stopped posting to AUE
is *very obvious* to perceptive readers.

> It would be a really sad thing if we lost her from this newsgroup because of the
> flamewars.

As said, TD is a verbal warrior herself, so it can't be the reason.

> The behavior on this group has driven away so many interesting people!

Name just four or five of the "many interesting people" driven away
since, say, December 1997. Also, they may not have been driven away but
got a life or are too busy with their work.

> Those of you who participate in such should be very ashamed of yourselves.

Laying on Catholic-Jewish guilt trips doesn't work with callous
AUEers. Besides, shouldn't Ms. Donovan also be "very ashamed" of
herself for her verbal aggression against half a dozen regulars and
dozens of hapless naifs who wandered into this snake pit and suffered
her fangs? Or is the Queen Cobra above reproach?

I correct bathroom graffiti. I use a pencil, though, so it's not like

This is a "tame" group.

Prove it for your self by posting something to the effect of "I don't

My name is up there: point out any instance of "backstabbing" be
so kind yet. In the front I stab, like TD, who could not think
of anything to wish Polar save an early demise. With provocation,
mind.

How original, Jonathan. A dozen AUE gits *considered* posting what you
did but thought it was too obvious to bother. It took a 19-year-old
chap like you to embarrass Cambridge. Good show! Small wonder Oxford
University is considered superior.
