A system of my choosing? So you don't want to know what they are?
OK, starting top left, and moving rightwards along each row:
1. Too dry
2. Too bland
3. Too sticky
4. Too sweet
5. Too crumby
6. Too malty
7. Too sugary
8. Too undunkable

And, just in case, they appear to be (although one is very out of focus)
Rich Tea, Lincoln, Jammy Dodger, Jaffa Cake, Digestive, Malted
Milk, Nice, and Abbey Crunch. But you didn't ask for that.

I didn't see any biscuits. But then, I'm American. All I saw was what

Ahh fond memories of bickies dunked in tea... If memory serves these are as
follows:

Rich Tea
Lincoln
Jammy Dodger
Dark Chocolate Digestive
Thin Arrowroot

Malted Milk
Nice
Abbey Crunch

The Dark Chocolate Digestive could just as easily be a Chocolate Caramel or
a Plain Chocolate Gingernut but they are indistinguishable from this
picture. Now if I could have a taste.... Note that Breton Biscuits bear an
astonishing resemblance to the Thin Arrowroot but since none of the others
are Gallic biscuits I shall not cross the channel.

Well, if this wasn't right then I can only suggest that number 1 is a
Rich Tea (although it clearly says "Albert" on it when enlarged,
rotated, recontrasted and brightened with Photoshop). So:

Rich Tea

Lincoln
Jammy Dodger
Jaffa Cake
Arrowroot

Malted Milk
Nice
Abbey Crunch

I once failed my driver's licence exam in Holland. The question
had to do with a crossing at two roads of equal importance.

You are driving a normal passenger vehicle. From the right
is coming a fire engine with bell clanging, towards you is
wandering an unattended cow, and from left a funeral
cortege is approaching with its headlights on. All four
of you reach the cross-roads at the same time.

Which vehicle has right of way?

I answered immediayely (having studied the book
studiously) that the cow had right of way, as the rules
are very clear that any loose cattle always have right
of way.

I flunked this question - for the same sort of reason
that others are stumbling in this one.

I'll choose an alphabetical listing:

Abbey Crunch
Albert
Dark Chocolate Digestive
Jammy Dodger
Lincoln
Malted Milk
Nice
Thin Arrowroot

Being an American and speaking left-pondian, I would not list any of these

I chose to list them in order of their appearance on the screen.

The business with the crossroads presumably relates to the fact that
the cow isn't a vehicle.

Oh well, I get it now. All we have to do is track down that Magritte
painting "Ceci n'est pas un biscuit".

The Jaffa Cake is not a biscuit, of course, so my next go is:

Albert
Arrowroot
Abbey Crunch

Jammy Dodger
Lincoln
Malted Milk
Nice

But you didn't ask us to name them. So here's my answer
again with the non-biscuit omitted.

1. Too dry
2. Too bland
3. Too sticky

4. (not a biscuit)

5. Too crumby
6. Too malty
7. Too sugary
8. Too undunkable

Right, then. As far as I can tell, the first solver to e-mail a
Jaffa-free answer to the answer box was Laura. She hereby gets a
Cormo.

By the way, the Committee has settled that the Jaffa Cake is not a
biscuit, as can be seen by the decision of a British court:
