Please let me know whether it is still doing now in each case.
Are there some ceased or intermittent cases?

1. It has been raining for 2 hours.
2. It has been raining since 4 a.m.
3. It has been raining.
4. She's been playing tennis since eight.
5. Have you been working hard?

Still raining.

Could refer to what's been happening in a given period of time; it
might not be raining at that precise moment.

>4. She's been playing tennis since eight.

Presumably still playing.

Could refer to a general condition (i.e., one could ask this of
someone when they have already gone home for the day).
