Does it only have one meaning to us women and for our mates?
I think that the phrase "TAKING THE PILL" has a stigma attached to
it for us women. IMHO it should not be stigmatized.

Please check your spelling before you post. You typed "LL" instead of
"SS".

What do you mean by this question?

It did originally, but not anymore [see below].

When the pill was only available for women this might have been the
case; but since the invention of the morning after birth control pill
for men, women no longer have to worry about this. Why don't you write
a poem for your fellow women readers based on the theme "Are you still
on the pill?"?

Why doesn't "onomatopoeia" sound like what it means?
What would it sound like if it did?

That's not a poem!

Seems to me it was "P" for "B", and the answer is "daft".
> What does "TAKING THE PILL" mean to us women?
A few decades back, an English grammar teacher found that workbook used
for teaching her English class was out of date. It had a sentence, "I
had my pill and was ready for bed".
> Does it only have one meaning to us women and for our mates ?
Nope. When your mates take the pill, they are more likely to take viagra
than progesterone..

Well, in a society where virgins are adored, taking a pill would have a
connotation of non-virginity which would be a stigma, would it not ? Can
you imagine an impressionist painting "The Blessed Non-Virgin" ?

These days poems which are in vogue do not rhyme.

Must you really be so cruel toward this esteemed and prolific poster? I
predictwe are going to see a war between these two parties.

I can't imagine an Impressionist painting "The Blessed Virgin".
"The Blessed Virgin" wouldn't be an impressionist painting. The "Blessed
Non-Virgin", however, can be impressionist.

I did not know that Bun Mui is a woman. I've been meaning all
along to say "Mr Bun". Not that it matters. But it's interesting.
(Even more interesting is the notion that Ms Bun is unclear about "THE
PILL".)

Just why would someone be committing suicide by taking the morning after
pill? I thought it was supposed to prevent that kind of thing.

We have learnt on another occasion that the BumButt is a Roman
Catholic, so a lack of clarity with respect to The Pill is only to be
expected.

I took the question to be both rhetorical and tendentious: a
feminist demand for compulsory vasectomy.

"BumButt"? What happened to B**M**? Is BumButt a clarification of B**M**?
Speaking of clarification, can you clarify what you mean by "so a lack of
clarity with respect to The Pill is only to be expected"? Are you claiming that
__all__ Roman Catholics "lack clarity with respect to The Pill"? Or are you
only singling out the Bun?

Just be sure you do so in triplicate.
