And thusly dids't "~*LiveLoveLaugh*~" <Nob...@myjunkaddy.com> speak,
to which I responded as so...

>I r'cvd this last night...
>
>
>
>What time did you get up this morning?

about 11.30am

>Diamonds or pearls?

Diamonds

>What was the last film you saw at the cinema?

Night Watch

>What is your favorite TV show?

TV? What's that? ; )
But at the moment about the only show I turn the TV on for is "Ghost
in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex."

>What did you have for breakfast?

Haven't had breakfast.

>What is your favorite cuisine?

S&V chips.

>What foods do you dislike?

Tomato, lettuce, pumpkin, beans. They're a few of them.

>Your favorite Potato chip?

Probably the wrinkled cut. Or the pringle cut.

>What is your favorite CD?

My D2:LOD CD of course! ; )

>What kind of car do you drive?

Don't.

>Favorite sandwich?

Beetroot, cheese, apple, and slices of some processed meat stuff that
the name of has gone right out of my head.

>What characteristics do you despise?

I'm not all that much of one for despising. I don't have any fondness
for loud, rude and crude people though.

>Favorite item of clothing?

Overcoat.

>If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation?

Oh, I mean to one day someday take a trip over around the USA.

>What color is your bathroom?

White.

>Favorite brand of clothing?

I don't do clothing brands.

>Favorite time of day?

Just as the sun's rising is often nice if I'm actually up at that
time. Middle of the night is also nice.

>Where were you born?

Orbost hospital.

>Favorite sport to watch?

Don't.

>What laundry detergent do you use?

Cold Power.

>Coke or Pepsi?

Vanilla Coke.

>Are you a morning person or night owl?

Night owl.

>What size shoe do you wear?

About a 7.

>Do you have pets?

Nope.

>Any new and exciting news you'd like to share with us?

I found a SoJ playing D2 just before the weekend. ; )
And I need to get a job soon before the rent becomes due. ; )

>What is your favorite word?

Giddies!

>Favorite Candy Bar?

Don't really eat em.

>What are the different jobs you have had in your life?

Post Office assistant
Motel Cleaner
Mobil Roadhouse/petrol station console operator (and cleaner)
Programmer * 2
Stablehand. * 3
And I did use to get paid for helping to feed the calves on our farm.

>What color underwear are you wearing?

I'm not. Still in the black boxers I sleep in.

>Nicknames:

Uhm, Ashen Shugar? ; )
Don't tend to get nick names in real life. Though on a recent ski
trip one guy suggested calling me Tigger. ; )

>Piercing:

None. Unless you count all the times I get splinters working on my
parents farm.

>Eye Color:

Some sort of blue.

>Ever been to Africa?

Nope.

>Ever been toilet papering?

Sort of.

>Love someone so much it made you cry?

Don't think so. No.

>Been in a car accident?

Yup.

>Favorite day of the week?

*shrug*
Possibly a left over from working as a stable hand, but one day is the
same as the others there pretty much. Slight changes in the routine
over the weekend, but you're still working. Thursdays are good though
as that's when new movies come out in the cinemas.

>Favorite restaurant?

Don't go to them except with family, and then it's always changing
which we go to.

>Favorite flower?

Don't exactly have one. Roses are good though. Gotta love beauty
with thorns.

>Favorite ice cream?

With apple juice.

>Disney or Warner Brothers?

Meh.

>Favorite fast food restaurant?

KFC. Good chips.

>What color is your bedroom carpet?

A sort of speckled brown and what might once many years ago have been
white. The owner was considering redoing the carpet before I moved
in, but I said I was happy with the carpet as it was, and if the rent
got any higher I wouldn't rent the place.

>What color did it used to be?

No clue at all.

>How many times did you fail your driver's test?

Nada times.

>Before this one, from whom did you get your last e-mail?

This isn't an email.
But my latest emails except for spam were my daily Dilbert, a M:TG
card auction and one some IT articles on a website or something
somewhere.

>Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?

Probably JB-HI, not that I would max it out. But I could either go
for DVD's or for speakers or tv's there.

>What do you do most often when you are bored?

Sit at the computer or read a book.

>What time is bedtime?

Whenever. Until I start working at a stable again. Then it'll be
anywhere between 7.30pm and 10pm depending on how tired I am.

>Who are you most curious about their responses to this questionnaire?

*shrug*

>Last person you went to dinner with?

Parents and a nice lady who my mum had just penciled for in some state
level horse event.

>Ford or Chevy?

Actually, that should be Ford or Holden here in Australia. And at
present I'm more of a Holden person. Because of a previous house mate
that was into cars had a Holden with a nice Clubsport body kit on it.
Although the car I'd quite like if I was filthy rich is a BMW
Roadster. It used to be the Z-3, but with the Z-4 out now, I'm
starting to lean that way more and more.

>What are you listening to right now?

Dido.

>What is your favorite color?

Black.

>Lake, Ocean or river?

River. Not a big water fan.

>How many tattoos do you have?

None. Got a few scars though. : )

>Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Chicken.

Honestly, I avoid 'big airplane' movies until they're on TV or rentable,
because I know I'll just sit there and mentally pick 'em apart, miss the plot,
and waste my $8.50. (Although Steven Seagal getting big-screen sucked to his
imminent death in Executive Decision would've been worth full price : -).

A sunny little place called Glasgow. Then Edinburgh and Balmacara near the
Isle of Skye. Not necessarily in that order. Wanna pop over the border for a

This is not fair. Don't I get a cut since I started this thread?? I mean
don't I *deserve* at least one extra bowl of ice cream?? I mean, hey

Sort of I guess. It's not really a word that gets used in
conversation much though. But yeah, it is a positive word.
I didn't come up with it, so I don't know it's origins for sure, but
it sounds like it might have been derived from the word "Giddy".

Yeah, I'm wondering about them a bit. I could have sworn I had a rum
and coke left in the fridge, but when I went to grab it, it wasn't
there. Now, it had been there for a while, and I suppose I could have
forgotten, but I'm pretty sure I hadn't drunk it myself.

Still, we'll see how things go. I should be back to stable work soon
and we'll see how those hours work with having a house mate. He had
his last exam a couple of days ago, so he should be able to work more
now and be able to afford his own place or this place should I decide
to move off and he wanted to stay. I've got a month to see how things
go before I'd need to make up my mind if I wanted to leave at the end
of the lease. On one hand, I like moving into a new place and I would
prefer to be living on my own but on the other hand, single living is
always going to be more expensive than sharing a flat.

Anyway, in other news, while they're not candy bars, I noticed today
that the Tim Tams are on special at the supermarket. ; )

Actually, you can fail your driver's test here. One of Ryan's friends
failed almost as soon as he started the test. Two right of way
violations before he had gone a block. The first was when he gave up
his right of way to another vehicle, which was when the tester told him
that the test was over. The second happened on the way back to the DMV.

What I think is weird is that they don't do the points thing any more.
Now they have minor and major infractions; one major gets the test
ended. If they had had this when I took it, my points off for going too
slow - yes, believe it or not, I had a total of 11 points deducted for
driving too slow, even though my speedometer was reading the posted
limits - would have just been one minor infraction.

Although my daughter has been nagging and pining to return for a while now,
this will probably only happen if the film festival thing happens. It's
pretty expensive from here to Scotland in the summer. I've been there so
many times that as much as I'd adore visiting friends and relatives, that
would be money well spent on a location we haven't been to. Although I

>>Love someone so much it made you cry?

Yeah. Both when together and afterwards. Always liked/hated this, if anyone
has never seen it before:

Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable.
It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can
get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build
up a whole suit of armour, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid
person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid
life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did
something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life
isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you
out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so a simple phrase like 'maybe we
should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into
your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind.
It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate
love.

Not by me, though, however much I wish it was! Pretty sure it's by Neil
Gaiman, actually.

CDs, DVDs, culty books, games, that kind of thing. Like a Virgin Megastore
but better? Think you have those in the US. Just has a bit of a better
selection of more alternative stuff, better offers. Brilliant place to get
lost in for hours!

Did you hear Georgie Best died? He bought me my first drink when I turned
21. It was in his bar here in So.Cal "Besties", and I'd been going there for
a couple of years...he didn't know me, only by face, and when someone told
him it was my 21st, he ordered a drink for me. Then he gave me this
look...which to me said "You've been drinking at my bar for years illegally?
Risking my licence?!"....ahhhhh, what can be said in a look. :)

Is it peppermint?

Ditto. Like my dad, the former Chevy man, said when he bought his first
Suburu "When Americans make a car like the Japs can, I'll buy it!"

George Best's death ate the news for about two days over here, yeah. Cool
story :-)

No, just plain milk chocolate, but very thick and...nice.

I should have known. He's not well known here, he was for awhile in the
mid-seventies when he arrived and the North American Soccer League was in
it's prime. We got the retirees, Pele, Johan Cruyff, Beckenbauer...they
were fun to watch. I was a big fan of Cruyff's and really consider it an
honor to have see him play live with the Aztecs. I gave him and some other
players a lift from the practice field at the Rose Bowl to their lockers.
<g> Stoked!! Dang, I miss those days!

Poor Bestie, got a new liver and even that couldn't save him. I'm glad I
have my good memories of him. He was always a sweet, quiet guy when I was
with him at Besties.
