I think we can all agree that Jackson won round one and Griffin won round two. So let's assume Jackson 18 and Griffin 19 since Jackson was totally dominated and did nothing in round 2. Round four IMO was Jackson's. Yes, Griffin attempted a Triangle choke but otherwise did nothing in that round. Now it's Jackson 28 Griffin 28. Comes down to rounds 3 and 5. In round 3 while Griffin landed many leg kicks they were not as effective as rounds 1 and 2 and Jackson was able to land quite a few head shots. Since we have to award a winner I'm giving this one to Jackson. Scoring is now Jackson 38 and Griffin 37. In round 5 Griffin outscored Jackson with numerous head and leg kicks so I'll give this one to him. Final score: Jackson 47 Griffin 47. Just my take.

Other than the knockdown uppercut to Griffin the round 1, all the action went Griffin's way. I suspect the judges, as did Joe Rogan and myself, would have given Round 1 to Forrest too...

It was a difficult fight to score. I would have had it a draw as well, but I can see a case for either fighter. Rampage landed more power shots, but Griffin landed a variety of different types of strikes in greater numbers. Same as you, I gave rounds 2 and 5 to Griffin, and 1, 3, and 4 to Rampage, with round 2 scored 10-8. The rematch is going to be huge for the UFC.

(Translation: Gump was allowed to lay on top of Jackson for the entire round, while doing little more than feigning elbow and forearm fury. Anyone else would have been stood up.)

Griffin won merely by the *impression* of being the aggressor, as far as I'm concerned.

Dude- you've lost all credibility IMO. So if the guy you want to win- loses- then it is a fix. Sheesh must be nice to go through life with that attitude- you're never wrong. Whatever.

Whatever. The bigger you blow the Gump bubble, the bigger the explosion will be when it pops.
