Jackson too tentative in Rounds 4-5
|
| |
It should have been a draw IMO. However, Jackson proved his power early on . . . and then, especially in the 5th round, he looked as if he had no more fighter / warrior spirit left in him. He was timid and backing away. I don't understand. Not his style. At all.

I wonder what Quinton Jackson weighed in at? It looks like he has been carrying a little extra weight to me.

in UFC 85 there was a controversial stoppage when Dan Mirgoliata (hope i spelt that right) stopped a fight quite prematurely in UFC 86 on the other hand we've seen one of the bloodiest UFC fights ever but the ref let the fight go all 3 rounds. By contrast it made Dan's premature stoppage look VERY, VERY premature!... more »

Is the UFC rigged?
|
| |
I mean those judges must have been blind to have those scorecards. Rampage definately won the first round. Griffin definately won the 2nd, maybe even a 10-8 round, but the judges were insane to give rounds 3-5 to Griffin. There's no way he won all 3. Jackson connected with by far the hardest blows in round 3-5. If it was a non... more »

Round by round by me
|
| |
I think we can all agree that Jackson won round one and Griffin won round two. So let's assume Jackson 18 and Griffin 19 since Jackson was totally dominated and did nothing in round 2. Round four IMO was Jackson's. Yes, Griffin attempted a Triangle choke but otherwise did nothing in that round. Now it's Jackson 28 Griffin 28. Comes down to... more »
