yes i know im completely stretching it! but dammit if they were gonna have ol'
eddie (well darren e. burrows but close enough) i really wanted at least one NX
ref!! :) so in erm i guess the 2nd version (1st after the teaser one) scully
wants to know the robber's name... she wants to call him "steve", a nice honest
name or something to that effect. he tells her his name is bernard. bernard +
steve = bernard stevens, chris-in-the-morning's sort-of-twin brother (or as
chris said "karmic doppelganger") with whom he shares dreams etc... yes? no?
maybe so? of course not, but still. bernard (NX vers.) was such a neato
character i loved em... does anyone remember if there were any NX dealings with
deja vu? id think there would HAVE to be but i dont remember specifically...

yeah I did tink the Bernard thing was an intentional NX reference...of
course since that is my favorite TV show, of , I guess , all time ( I know
blasphemy, I am a Philistine, etc etc,)
I was hoping that it was intentional.

Yes, and it was with Ed. Don't know the episode name, but I remember Ed walking
down the steet and into Ruth Anne's store, bumping into Walt in the store, and
finding out from Ruth Anne's phone call that her son was planning to visit.
Next time around, Ed is able to avoid bumping into someone on the street, avoid
bumping into Walt (who was buying a lawn flamingo?), and tell Ruth Anne in
advance what her phone call from her son was about.
Or something like that.

The NX episode you are talking about is from the last season and
I believe it is called "Sons of the Tundra". Ed eats a trout that
he thinks is really the trickster raven in disguise. The raven
causes him to temporarily have some deja vu experiences.
