I hope she gives you the apology you deserve!!! Hrmph!

My story, "A View from the Top" which was plagiarized and posted on an LFN
fanfic site called Storyboard I. Aside from the obvious indignity, which I
assure you I am feeling, I have to admit I find this a bit funny. How a
vignette written from the point of view of Skinner's glasses could ever
possibly fit into the LFN universe is WAY beyond me.
Good humor aside, consider yourself warned yet AGAIN, everyone. When I went to
check out the report of my story on this site, I found three posts of apology
from the archivist for stories that had recently been removed because of
plagiarism, and that did NOT include mine. The archivist was great and removed
my story right away, but you might want to go look for your own work...or
anyone else's for that matter. Here's the address:

Seems like this problem seems to resurface every once in a while and it
just makes me wonder, are we reading fic that's been 'plagiarized' from
another show? (not that that isn't what fic is essentially in the
first place, but that's a story for another day...)
It just kind of makes me laugh. Does this mean that, generally
speaking, the best fic is inspired by the X-files? Or are philes in
general better fic writers, that people feel compelled to take these
stories?
I've gotten the impression from most fic (again, generally speaking)
I've read that the authors had a story they wanted to tell, not that
they just wanted to 'get some story up there' about a show they
happened to enjoy.
It's irritating for the author, I know, but I think it makes the
offender look foolish enough that you get vindication that way. At
least in the x-files fic community.
