The American Film Institute Television Writers Summer Workshop: Writing the
One Hour Drama is designed for writers seriously pursuing narrative
television screenwriting. The deadline for applying is August 7, 1998 and up
to 12 writers will be selected to attend the workshop.
Chris Carter will be the Workshop Director for this year's Television Writers
Summer Workshop.

That's exactly the problem. There's a television producer teaching a
writing workshop. And the talented writers here don't need to slip down
several levels to learn from him.
However, if you want to learn to crinkle and act so hip you don't need a
belt, why not.
