V is produced by Warner Brothers. Alien Nation was produced by Fox.
The former isn't getting "redone over" the latter. There'll never be
a situation in which one is chosen to be produced over the latter
unless Warner and Fox should ever merge. Which will likely never
happen.

I agree, so far the remake of V has been real good, so maybe they
should do a remake of ALIEN NATION, see how they remake the newcomers,
like they did the visitiors.

I can see this only going down in flames... If you're wanting
something grittier than the original -- might I suggest that District
9... It has a similar theme, even if the humanoid in the movie is
mutated into one of the aliens...

I do agree... Alien Nation was good... and is should be re-looked at. I
do think that Section 9 may have been a modled from it.
