Oh and having more Trek actors would be neat too, the Niners are all
good actors!
I would like them to work out who is the most clearly dead of all the past
characters and find a way to bring them back.
AC
I'd like Bill to come back in an Obi-Wan Kenobi way.

That would be George Mason (played by Xander Berkeley), who was last
seen taking over the controls of a Cessna 208 from Jack after crawling
out from under a tarp complaining about the service on that flight.
Contaminated by plutonium dust from the manufacture of the nuclear
bomb in the back of the plane, he gave Jack a parachute, Jack bailed
out, and soon after a mushroom cloud rose over the Mojave Desert. If
they brought George back after all that, they would definitely jump a
whole school of sharks!!!
Greg
At least they didn't have JLS join the cast.
Good call. I was thinking about the guy Jack had to shoot. Was it Ryan
Chappelle?
Um, I have to say, 24 cant jump *the* shark, since it seems to treat sharks
like hurdles. I'm not having a go, I love the show for it.
AC
Ryan Chapelle was the first guy I thought of. Did we really see his
heart stop and his brain function cease? I didn't, I just saw a shot to
the head. Making him a candidate to freely walk through the door and
jump right back into the action, at "Division."
Except how do you get around the fact that the bad guys had his body
picked up and verified as DEAD!?!? That was a head shot with a
bullet, not a bullet proof vest under a coat like Nina had when Jack
"saved" her in Season 1.
Greg
They lied.
Er, Jack made a sneaky deal. We saw the shot side on, so it could have
missed. Ryan has been hidden away for a bit doing something noble and brave.
There you go. Now imagine an actual writer has to think something up.
Seen Prison Break? There is a beautifully outrageous example there.
AC
OK, the all-time champ for this would be Marshall Goren. Bringing HIM
back would set the all-time bar for implausibility, even on this show.
And if you don't remember who Marshall Goren is, five words:
"I'm gonna need a hacksaw."
<eg>
Twin brother by mistake? Nah.
Anyway, you're cheating :) , he's not a main character "shockingly"
killed. There are plenty of well dead red shits.
AC
Mason in that season was my favorite character -- after Jack.
As far as really, really dead, we have numerous choices, among them, Nina,
shot at close range three times by Jack and Chapelle (sp), shot point
blank in the back of the head by jack.
FACE
Victor Drazen for example..................
As I recall, he was last seen floating face down in Long Beach Harbor,
after Jack emptied a clip from his gun into Drazen!
Greg
That's it then. He'll be back.
>> >Anyway, you're cheating :) , he's not a main character "shockingly"
I remember that scene in particular because it was not technically
possible (so far as i know).
Jack emptied the click into the guy and then dry-fired at him several
times. He was using a semi-automatic. Though most will immediately know,
for those that don't, the rack would have flown back and stayed back when
the clip was empty. It didn't. (Or maybe my experience with
semi-automatic pistols is too limited)
(driving the van into the office, jumping out the back firing, etc. was
probably the best example of a one-man destruction machine i can think of
in the series......)

Nice observation. I remember that and it really isn't possible. But I fell
for it because it was JACK!
The only thing is that he didn't throw the weapon at Drazen. But, by that
time, unlike Superman, Drazen was incapable of ducking the gun.
Merry Christmas, FACE!

It certainly lent a nice touch to the scene......
And a merry Christmas to you and yours, George.............

Prison Break managed to bring back a decapitated character. It was feckin
ridiculous, but they did it none the less.
AC
Patrick Stewart and Bob Gunton together again would be neat.....
I agree that would be neat. Or a dream sequence like Mickey in one of
the Rocky movies.

Well if they paid attention to the small details and gave the
character stitches all the way around the neck, then I'm good.
I'd like to see Rieko Ayleworth brought back from the dead.

LOL - now that's suspension of disbelief. Love it!
