Andy in Silverlake, Calif.: Is this really the final season of 24?
"I don't know with regard to the last season," says Kiefer Sutherland.
"It is the last season that I've been contracted to do 24, but I
really don't know." If it truly is Jack's last hurrah, the producers
are planning some return visits from seasons past. "There's certainly
a chance of [bringing back old characters]. We've certainly been
talking about that," says David Fury. "At this point, we're only in
the first third of the season, but we have begun to discuss some of
the characters that could return." Fury says he really wants to see
Teri Bauer (Leslie Hope) return to the show. "If Tony [Carlos Bernard]
is still alive, there's every chance that Teri pulled through," jokes
Fury. In all seriousness, there's a likely possibility that Charles
Logan (Gregory Itzin) and Mandy (Mia Kirshner) could appear. Also,
"You may see Tony—there may be an opportunity for Tony to be pivotal
in the show," adds Fury.

Bring back Nina! Nina, Nina, NINA, NINA!!! (Hey, if they brought Tony
back...)

And please, please, *please* give Aaron Pierce, a.k.a The Man, a role
he deserves! None of that shunting him off with the most annoying
character on the show [*] crap.

[*] The President's daughter, played by that girl from JERICHO whose
name I can't for the life of me remember.

Indeed, Tony looked dead on the floor of the infirmary, and came back
GREAT!! And I don't recall seeing Nina with a bullet hole through her
forehead, so she could be back. But if they try to bring back George
Mason, then "24" will have officially "jumped the shark" as he
supposedly died at the controls of a Cessna 208 with a nuclear bomb in
the back. Still, I loved it when he climed out from under a tarp
complaining about the service on the flight!! :)
