Hi, Im Trevor. The LCD HDTV I have is a Westing House 19 inch
widescreen. When I went to turn it on today, every channel had a blue
tint to it, that I cannot even remotely change by changing the hue and
tint controls. All the inputs (DVI, Component, SVid, RCA) are tinted
blue. Dad is asking me to fix it, and I don't know what happened to it
so it will be very hard to fix something that I dont know how to fix.
Ive tried resetting to the default settings, and nothing happens.

Any help?

ok, thanks. the OSD (on screen display) is the only thing that is
'normal' looking. Ill ask dad if he can call customer support today.
Thanks!

Well, that at least rules out some physical hardware issues. Customer
support is probably the way to go, but if you can find a manual online,
it might have the reset sequence, too. Google for the exact model number
and see if anyone anywhere has posted anything about it.

I've 'fixed' several such problems on my hdtv stuff using the same
method.

My TV as well as my ATSC tuner has had to have that done several
times. Amazing, but I assume that there is some sort of startup
sequence like rebooting a computer.

The key for me is to actually unplug the devices rather than on/off
switch.
