Oh, no I'm just fucking around with him. He's quite harmless, really.
Only one rule applies in the universe: He who has the MIGHT makes the
rules! Don't like it? Who cares, deal with it! When you lose your
might, you get your a-- handed to you by another who has MORE.Case

*yawn!* OK, I'm back. "might makes right", eh? O'Niel's might came in
the form of an atomic weapon, smuggled in a box.
I don't think Ra did anything I wouldn't do in the circumstances he
was in. I found it amazing that the film left in so many clues to Ra's
mitigating actions. "Birth of a Nation" didn't do that....they
miligned the character of black people at every opportunity to justify
their racist passions. In Stargate, they didn't care enough to do even
that....How Ra would percieve this hostle incursion is of no concern,
so why stack the deck by making him the instigator? They let O'Niel
play the instigator...the aggressor.
Ra didn't even get the chance to show he was the "bad guy", O'Niel
attacked him first, when he should have tried to communicate w/ him.
The math was all there to tell Ra to retaliate against O'Niel's
"Amerikkka", since they saw it fit to send a crazy, suicidal misfit of
an air force officer on a first contact mission.
But the real point was your mindless accusation that Ra attacked the
United States. Ra did not attack the United States, and all of you
people who don't like to agree with me *know* this. Why did you say
that? Do you really believe that yourself? Would you *prefer* to
believe that? I can't come here and dick around with you people if
you're just going to make shit up. This is an educational process. You
have been manipulated by your media-of-choice, and were made obliged
to turn your back on an intergalactic lynching. Star Trek never did
this...the bad guys showed they were bad guys before the first punch
was thrown. Compare that to Col. O'Niel's "Go an' Get 'Em" attitude.
He got 'em all right....3/4 of all casualties depicted in Stargate
were underaged.
Most people who saw Stargate could claim ignorance, because admittedly
it's hard to pick up on all the clues, but once it's all explained,
there has to be something *fundamentally* wrong with people who
CHOOSES not to consider the possibilty that maybe they have been
cinematically coersed into betting for the wrong man. Think about it.
This government has an interest in cultivating pliant, ignorant
obsequence.

How stupid can you get?
Ra had enslaved millions of people, on multiple worlds -- and you claim that "he didn't do anything wrong"???
