Everett barged into Emily's house to yell at Telford for being there with
her. Emily told Everett that Telford was just a friend providing emotional
support, and said that she knew that Everett was still sleeping with "her"
(his mistress, probably TJ, from the Icarus Base who came on board the
Destiny). Emily definitely knew that she was speaking to Everett. Everett
then asked if Telford had told her that, yelled profanities at Telford, and
then attacked him, right in front of Emily! However, Everett was destoned
back to Destiny before he could complete the attack.
During the argument, Emily said that not all men are like Everett (the
philanderer who cheated on her at the Icarus Base and is still doing so on the
Destiny). I wonder what Telford said to Emily after Everett's 1st aborted
attack?

As long as its still his intention to win Emily back, how should he proceed?
He will then wage war against Young to get "his ship" back with the help
of the aliens would built the wrecked ship and have been tracking Destiny.
And what about the guy in the chair-induced coma? Maybe it was not a
teaching interface, but a learning interface to program the ship.

Rush opens the ship, finds tons of edible food and gallons of
potable water, gets the ship operational, then catches up to Destiny.
Hi-jinks ensue

Considering that Destiny is traveling FTL away from his location, it
seems unlikely that any ship is going to catch it. My guess is that
Rush will somehow use the stargates to leapfrog ahead of Destiny.
Then he will either a) be there waiting for them at the next stop, or
b) try to open a gate to Destiny who will detect it and drop out of
FTL to abide.
Of course, all that depends on some marvelous assumptions... Rush has
knowledge about which direction Destiny is headed, he knows the gate
addresses along the way, and he has the ability to dial a gate. All
of which imply that Rush had much greater access to Destiny's systems
than he let on.
We're also assuming that the dead alien ship was stranded and not
really left for junk just over the ridge from some advanced alien
city.

Cue crazy cartoon chase music, or The Lone Ranger Theme!
More likely that Destiny will realize
that one her "crew" is missing and turn
back to pick up Rush

Again? There has never been any proof

Interesting. Given that Rush has only been able to access a small
percentage of Destiny's main computers, etc. do you think the ship
would still 'recognize' him and realize he's no longer aboard?
Or if it was possible, maybe Rush WAS able to program in some sort of
'return to previous site' program in the parts of the mains he *could*
access, in case his biosigns aren't detected on board after a certain
time...
Since the hatch of the alien ship was locked, there could be a chance
that the inhabitant/s are still around (Enemy Mine?), and could find
Rush, and help him out...maybe it's a scientific exploration ship and
not a raider/warrior type vessel.
So far, every planet that Destiny stops at seems to be chosen by
"Destiny" as being important to the crew. I think that that planet was
important and its importance somehow revolved around that abandoned ship.
Is it possible that the "alien" ship was not really an alien ship at
all... but part of Destiny (there does appear to be many ships and
docking bays attached to Destiny, having been previously abandoned on
that planet. Perhaps Rush starts her up and she automatically finds
Destiny and docks.
I get the "feeling" that this may somehow be connected to the "time"
episode (the sort of unfinished and unexplained epi where everyone was
dead).
I also think that Destiny is not on a random course but rather she on a
pre-planned course (either chosen by the ancients or by Destiny's
computers).
Just imagine the most boring possibility, that's probably the wright one
;)
Yeah, because we know they can steer the ship
It has been established that he cheated
on her. It has never been established
with who. What Emily "thinks" is really
not relevant
hmmm - do you recall which episode?
Did the "new" crew name her Destiny? or was it already named Destiny?
If the ancients named her Destiny that might be indicative of some
pre-planned mission.
which is not proof - many a spouse becomes wrongly convinced that
their partner is erring and none can convince them otherwise.

He was cheating on her with Tiger Woods
Yes, there has - at least a hint of it on two occasions when Young and TJ
were together.
One of those was during the "psych exam" discussion.
The other was when she treated him for something, he looks at her (the "I
want to kiss you" look), and she says, "don't."

Sure. Meanwhile, the person who used the teacher will wake up with

But Destiny has long range scanners, not
to mention it can read minds.
Destiny is obviously configured for
Human Beings. As such it isn't difficult
to assume that any mission it has is
based on Humans. By that reasoning it
must be capable of realizing the loss of
a viable crew member puts that mission
in jeopardy.

LT-colonel?
Telford is a FULL colonel. He wears a bird, not a leaf.
Despite that, Young is still a superior to Telford, despite being the same
rank. Young was a base commander while Telford was a mission specialist.
That's another reason why Telford can't bring charges against Young for the
beating.
Too bad Young didn't tell Greer. It would make Greer's week.

As far as assault goes, yes. However, he could still be charged with
"conduct unbecomming" (which would apply to BOTH Young and Telford - for
different reasons). However, neither will press charges against the other.

By reg, superiority would be determined by date of rank (DOR), but in
reality would be based on job position only if they were in the same chain
of command (I have been in situations were my commander and deputy commander
were both full bird Colonels, the CC waiting on his 1st star, and the CD
newly promoted). It would be rare for a more recent DOR Col to be placed in
a position over a more tenured Col.

Irrelevant. Any military member can bring charges against any other
