Here it is and here is who you are as perceived by Fiveband
and Shamtrek. They have entrusted this sacred list to my care
and asked me to apologize if anyone got left out.
===================================================

Steve is Kirk. He's a horndog with a moral compass that gives him a
sense of justice.

DJ is Odo. Outspoken, strict respect for the written law, knowledge of the
politics of a somewhat corrupt government, somewhat enigmatic, but with a
highly romantic side.

FIVEBAND is Reginald Barclay. He is a loner with a profoundly deep nature
and intelligence, but on the outside looking in. Given half a chance he
could prove himself in any arena of society and love. A true Renaissance man.

RobRey is Tom Paris. Both are big history buffs. Both are hotshot navy
types.
Both need to be controlled by strong women. <BG>

Shammie is Leeta, obviously. ;-)

Anita is Jadzia. Quirky sense of humor. Bluntly honest. Emotional side
that can be endearing. She'd also make a good Kira, given how jealous
she is about her freedom and her natural distrust of the establishment.

Aardvark is Quark. He'd probably prefer his "female" nude and chewing
his food for him. He also seems to have a caring nature under the facade.

Allie is Ezri. Short, sweet, cute, bubbly on the outside. Seems like an old
soul on the inside.

Bob is probably Boothby. He's the wise elder that people respect.

Amarna is Janeway. She just seems to understand Janway's POV
too well not to be able to identify with her on some level.

Dangermouse is some Starfleet bureaucrat that has the inside scoop
on all the stuff that happens behind the scenes. Someday he's gonna
write a book on this and serve it up on a dish. Dangermouse is also Sloane.
Deadly and very much on the inside.

SJ is Sisko. Outspoken when he wants to be, diplomatic peacemaker
when he needs to be. Wulf is SJ's Dukat/Kai Winn counterpart. Their
correspondence was similar to the cultural/political discussions between
Winn and Sisko, with everything eventually coming to a head in a "Waltz"
late March and early April. But have we seen the "Final Chapter"? <G>

Julianna is a cross between T'Pring (the one Kirk and Spock had to fight
to the death over) and T'Pel (sp?). She loves Tuvok with all her heart and is
a cold Vulcan to anyone who would deny him his chance (like T'Pring she'd
have no problem seeing them killed).

Ta is a young, beardless Will Riker, tall, good-looking, and eager to
prove himself.

Wave is Tom Riker. A bit more of a renegade, gets out of control easily
but charismatic because of it.

Nick Nukem is Nog, young and energetic, determined to be the best
he can.

The Flinx is a cross between Holodoc and Data, somewhat inscrutable at
times, then quite spontaneously amusing when you least expect it.

Lurker is Wesley's friend the Traveler, he shows up out of nowhere and
disappears again mysteriously.

Therese is a cross between Naomi Wildman, and Chakotay's woman in
"Timeless" because she is loyal and true blue to the end, as well as
having at times a fun-loving, little-girl temperament.

Stormie is a cross between Kira and Vash. Like Kira, she has a temper,
and like Vash, you just cannot control that adventurous spirit.

Erin is Beverly Crusher, not only brilliant in science and pretty to boot,
but a peacemaker in human relations.

Bozo the Proctologist is Dr Bashir, genetically enhanced spoilers.
No-brainer on this one. <g>

Fluffy Rain is Troi, sensitive and empathic, soft and feminine.

CrabbyKitten is a very young and sexy Moogie--no bullshit, and knows
how to get what she wants.

Chris is Worf, very honorable and bluntly honest without ever meaning
to insult. Direct and informed, secretly addicted to Blood Wine and
biting his women.

TC is a charismatic Pakled (so insists 5B).

415Man is Tuvok. Always logical and on-topic, no nonsense, probably
secretly a blues singer.

Mr Sexy is Vorik. Immature, annoying, and pops in every now and then
without much meaning or purpose.
=================================================
Sorry folks:
Seven is one of a kind and stands alone.
Harry is a sacred cow.

(Ouch! Quit poking me, Fiver, I said it, OK?!)

Are you mocking me?

Did we leave anyone out?

Oh yeah, and by the way:
Drumboys is a cross between Fiveband and Shamtrek. It's one of
Shammie's screen-names and we bounced it back and forth between us.
Hee heeeeeee!

Hey, that's pretty good! You two have done a great job! There's a ring of
truth in all of your choices. FIVEBAND does seem a bit like Barclay. And I
like D.J. as Odo. Steve as James Kirk is, of course, a no brainer. ;-) I
like your choices for Anita, SJ, Aardvark, and Amarna too. I guess I'm still
a little new around here, so I'll have to get to know some of the others to
see how they are like the characters you picked for them.

If I'm Tom Riker, I guess that makes me and Ta brothers. Hmm... I'll have to
think about that one for awhile. <g>

I think you've got something there about me getting out of control easily
(and, of course, being charismatic too). It's funny, I use to be really in
control of myself until I found this place. You folks have brought out the
renegade in me. ;-)

Congratulations on a job well done, Shamtrek and FIVEBAND.

Oh, I forgot to highlight this in particular. Masterpiece of aptness.
Neither SJ nor Sisko tolerate bigots or bullies. And was SJ really a
preacher once? He has mentioned the collar hanging in the closet.
Our own emissary from the Prophets? :-)

My Trek choice for Tiny was also Dukat (though in all of literature, I
still think that Gollum comes closest). But yes, the Kai Winn angle
covers his pious persona. Winn represents herself most nobly, but you
always feel that something is just WRONG there.

I'd say she's Seven - cares for Tuvok, and is ruthlessly efficient about
it, with a massive database of Trek lore somewhere in her head.

What?! Sputter...blow a gasket...Non-Topic?!?
Ahem:
Kirk, Odo, Barclay, Paris, Leeta, Jadzia, Quaark, Ezri, Boothby, Janeway,
Sloane, Starflleet, Sisko, "Waltz," Kai Winn, Dukat, "Final Chapter," T'Pring,
T'Pel, Tuvok, Will Riker, Tom Riker, Nog, Holodoc, Data, Wesley, the Taveler,
Naomi Wildman, Chakotay, "Timeless," Kira, Vash, Dr Crusher, Dr Bashir,
genetically enhanced, Deanna Troi, Moogie, Worf, Blood Wine, Pakled, Vorik,
Seven, Harry, Tuvix (Drumboys).

Hands on hips
What do you have to say for yourself now?
Personally, I feel covered for the next month to go as off-topic as my little

Thanks. :)

I think I've adjusted to being the Naomi of the group now:

...inexplicably intelligent, wise beyond her years, gets to save the
ship every other week, charming and spunky, irritates the hell out of
a number of people on the NG......

...and still hasn't had a scene with Chakotay...

Sounds spot on actually, doesn't it...???? :)

Not too sure about those spikes on her head though....

......she hasn't got nearly as many as I have.....

I'm not Flo. That's why they call me FIVEBAND.

BTW I read your email. Don't you think it's
self-contradictory for the GOP to have an
affirmative action program?

I prefer to be called "jingoist", personally. It just sounds more musical...

Just because I send a picture of myself to someone doesn't mean I'm

in love with that person. Are you mocking me?

I deleted (oops!) the original post, but wanted to thank Shamtrek and Fiveband
for the flattering comparison to Troi - and for thinking of me at all! I can't
think of a character I'd rather be associated with.

And thanks, Fiveband, for letting me know to read this thread. :)

It's a farming tool used in rice harvesting. I
had that picture taken when I was abroad on
an exchange program. I was helping a friend
of mine at his home.

???an unnamed alien??? Before I decide how truly offended I am, please
refresh my memory. Were the Pakleds the short, dumpy, bald, jowly arrogant
SOBs who were coasting on a reputation of being master strategists who
hadn't been challenged for centuries because of that reputation and it turns
out they were mostly hot air? Or were they the short, dumpy, bald, jowly
idiots who kidnapped Geordi because he was smart and could make them strong?
I really have got to work on my image. I am NOT short!!!
