Copying Magnus' header - how about discussing the silliest outfit. I
think I saw it today while watching "Private little war".

Pre-Industrial woman: Orange fuzzy fur top, frosted eye shadown and
lipstick, false eyelashes, Pants made out of a jean like, polyester
type material, low on the hips, cut tight with a flair just below the
knees.

And what's with the men's wigs. Worst wigs I have ever seen. I
laughed at the physical differences between the planet's two races:
Black wigs vs white wigs. :-)

She looked pretty hot to me. The pants showed off her butt

Those wigs are funny. But since all the native men had those wigs, it just
looks like their race is blessed with a really good head of hair :)
But you are right on both counts though.

I would like to nominate the outfits in Friday's Child. McCoy noted that
the natives are seven feet tall (going by memory here). The costume
designer added those ridiculous hats that added a foot or so of height.
Are the tops of their heads that high and in the shape of a can?

OMG I guess you don't remember the men-without-pants of Elaan of Troyius.

In article <V-ednUBSvsSsQPTY...@comcast.com>,
la...@lauragoodwin.org says...
The men-without-pants had "armor" made from orange plastic placemats.
My mom had the same mats back in the sixties, made from translucent
plastic beads, melted together. I didn't realize it until years
later...talk about wardrobe improvisation.

Haven't got to that episode yet. Let me look for an image on the
web.... tick tock tick tock.

Oh I remember this episode.

Here is a pic of the outfit.

Pretty funny! Men wearing orange with gold accents.

I thought those outfits were pretty funny also. I missed some of the
dialogue staring at those outfits.

I liked the TNG uniforms. Black with a basic colors... very elegant.

Agreed. And the silliest thing is that they never marketed them to the fans
*as* pyjamas.

You sure were right ToolPackingMama! Had to see the poor men walking
around in those outfits to know how silly they were. The orange
sparkly material looked like foam or plastic. gosh!

Now my choices for silliest outfits are Men of 'Elaan of Troyius' and
Men of "the world is hollow" (checkered short caftan type outfits with
condom like hats).
