Enterprise Season Four.

I think Enterprise gets a worse rap than it truly deserves. It is better
than voyaGER hands down.
It did have its problems: it was highly codified, as all the Trek under
Berbrag became, and it came at the end of of their 'stewardship' of
roddenberry's legacy.
the faux bryan adams AC ballad theme sucked.
it did get bogged down, especially in the lugubrious third season xindi
snoozefest.
but they were finally getting things RIGHT in season four.
i love it when archer throws out the time travellers and says 'were
through with your temporal cold war, just leave our time alone'.
and their little multi-part arcs were some of the best stories told in
ANY trek series.
they tightened up the storytelling and heightened the action and were
delving into a lot of really basic primal star trek history.
but it was too late. they tried to come from behind, but TPTB at
paramount had lost fayth.
Berbrag needed to be retired, but that Enterprise will be remembered as
the series that killed the renaissance of Trek is unfair.
We will see what JJ can do with it.

Yeah, I generally agree. The change in opening tune certainly
was a mistake. A change was a good idea not what they did.
The original tune was OK for a time. The Klingotts and
Xindi were a mistake of sorts though not fatal for my
pleasure.
