It is a minor surprise, but proves she has a brain rather than being greedy.
Reportedly she was offered a huge amount of money to stay with the fool for
another two years ... of course, this way she'll get a huge amount of money
AND be rid of the fool (although she'll still have to put up with him
because of the kids).

I'm just happy the whole mess is about to go away.

Makes me feel dirty to see those types of headlines - and not in a good way.

It's better for the kids if they don't see mommy using daddy as a
punching bag. It's too bad Woods married this harridan in the first
place, but he is well rid of her.

YEAH!

If the marriage was so bad, Tiger should have manned up and gotten
divorced. Likewise, if he knew he couldn't be faithful, divorce as
well. I suspect he only got married for show; the public likes a family
man more than a bachelor. I think the Clintons only got married as a
strategic move to the White House. I doubt a bachelor could get elected
prez.

Yep. This so-called "news story" is going to be around for quite a while yet
:-( ... unless something minor like Obama sneezing while walking into his
White House office, or perhaps World War III comes along.

Right there with ya.

I never understood people who *want* to be with cheaters. I told my
husband back when we were dating, that if he cheated on me, I'd forgive
him, but it would be over, because I could never trust him again.
Further, *he'd* better be the one to tell me he found someone else,
because if I hear it in the streets, I'll pick him up, hold him
upside-down, and shake out every red cent I could get out of him. BUT I
would never try to keep him from being with the kids, nor would I
badmouth him to them. I hate it when people do that; makes the kid feel
they have to choose which parent to love, and that's not fair, unless
one of the parents is a danger to the kids in some way. The kid should
know *why* they will have limited, supervised, or no contact with that
parent. However, whatever issues we may have had between us wouldn't be
a factor with the kids.

Exactly I think their union was a front from the start. She saw the
potential in him, and seized on it.

Every president I've ever seen with his wife has always seemed to at
least *like* the wife. Nixon, Reagan, Carter, both Bushes - they all
seemed to really love their wives. The Clintons have *zero chemistry* -
I mean ZERO. The Obamas have something I'd never seen in any
presidential couple, though - *heat*.

Did you see how they looked at each other while dancing at the inaugural
ball?

That was hot. TMZ took a poll asking if we thought they "did it" that
night. My vote was yes.

If she is scratching his face and chasing him around with a golf club,
you can bet that he has been putting up with emotional abuse for
years. She has already bought a house in Sweden where she is planning
to take the kids, making it very difficult for him to see his
children. She is a vicious, vindictive woman posing as a victim.

I will say he should have stuck with one mistress, but maybe he didn't
want to get that deeply involved with any one woman.

I suspect he got married because he wanted to have children and to be
a father to his children. For all of the supposed affairs, I haven't
heard that he got anyone but his wife pregnant. If he is trying to
salvage his marriage, it's probably because he wants to stay in his
children's lives. That's probably not going to happen. He can afford
to fly to Sweden to see them, but the jet lag alone means there will
be months when he can't take the time.

The world is full of men who would gladly dispose of the wife if it
didn't mean losing their kids.

A bunch of the "mistresses" probably never did more than shake hands
with Tiger. They are just riding the publicity train, hoping to cash in
on the notoriety. It's hard to prove you didn't have sex with a woman
who says you did. There are guys sitting in prison right now for
supposedly having sex with women they have never met.

And had several times that in endorsement deals signed. Just the first
Nike deal was worth over $100 million as I remember, and he signed
that practically the day he left Stanford and was no longer an
"amateur."

I expect he can forget any pre-nup since they had kids, and Elin has
moved her legal residency back to $weden for the divorce/child support
proceedings.

Uh, I'm sure he's never had trouble getting a girlfriend before he got
rich. He's a pretty good-looking guy, IMO. I go for exotic features,
and so do other women. But the fact that she's from Sweden is probably
the reason he may never have met her - he was there to play golf, from
what I understand.

And if they're good-looking enough, he'd be able to do so. Woods is a
hottie, IMO, so his being rich certainly is the catalyst for *most* of
his trysts no doubt, but he wouldn't be chickless without the money,
believe me.

I totally agree that many of these "mistresses" are bogus, but you don't
go to prison for sexual crimes based on accusations only, in this age of
DNA. There has to be physical evidence.

Having said that, Woods is mired into the quandary of not acknowledging
the skanks' claims, which would give them credibility. But at the same
time, his not commenting on them creates just enough ambiguity for the
tabloids to run with it. It sucks, but he has nobody to blame but himself.

Cellphone flirtation records with talk of having sex and a description of
Woods' home interior would seem to prove the above notions false. He
shagged them all because he's a philanderer. A golfer set him up with Elin
and Woods didn't stop there, other friends continued to set him up after his
marriage.

He has Asian eyes and cheekbones (Philippina mother, I heard), but brown
skin and wavy hair. He's unusual-looking.

My own husband has a big nose, a long, narrow head, and started losing
his hair as a teen. He's not what most would consider a "hunk" but
trust me, he never had trouble with getting women. In fact, they went
after *him* (didn't hurt that he's athletic and has always been
well-toned - not Ah-nold type, just toned) I spoke with some of his
ex-girlfriends, who say they got tired of waiting for him to ask them
out, so they went for it. Ironically, I never gave him a second thought
- not because I thought he was unattractive, I just didn't give it a
thought one way or the other, really. I was the last to know he was
attracted to me. (we were stationed at the same base hospital)

And oh yeah - he's a really nice guy. Goes pretty far with *most* of us.

But two of those are really old cases - I'm talking about once DNA
became standard. The other was a total botch job, IMO. Any competent
DA and judge should know that witness testimony is really unreliable,
especially from the victim, who's distressed. That was just nuts.

What bothers me is not the sex drive but the lying. My wife sometimes
asks me "If it were alright for me if you could have sex with other
girls would you do it?" and I say "Absolutely!" She doesn't like the
answer but at least she knows she can trust me because I'm not lying
to her.

No he's spot on. Lots of women marry the wild reckless guys they are
attracted to then spend years bitching about how stupid and unreliable they
are. They get beat up in fights and move away. Then when their hubbies get
out of jail they get back together, get drunk and the women get beat up
again. The great circle of life.

Yeah the girls in Vegas don't go for the "bad boys" -- sheesh!

Yeah, since when do women want the "truth"? "No honey, you look just like
you did thirty years ago when we got married."

Usually it's multiple tattoos, boozed silly at least 75% of the time,
ignores them 95% of the time, and has the brains of a squashed dog-poo, and
a prison record often helps too.

Using Pamela Anderson as an example is going completely in the wrong
direction ... she's nothing but trailer trash and another celeb who let fame
and money warp their head (although, she probably is an ideal 14th, or is it
24th, for Tiger Wood's "collection").

Gee thanks.

No on the Gillette - my Native American ancestry afforded me the luxury
of no unwanted body hair. I remember asking my mom why a lady would
need to shave.

Ever see a *full-blooded* NA guy with a beard? I haven't. Even in the
old portraits of Chiefs, they were smooth-skinned.

Let's hear it for good genes!

I know, but he makes it sound like *most* of us are like that - I say no.

Speaking of those stupid bitches, nothing enrages me more than when they
let their boyfriends/husbands/whatever abuse the kids cuz they don't
want to lose that animal.

Grrrrrrr

There are some questions a sensible person won't ask. Why ask for a lie?

With that though, hubby and I do just the opposite. We're each always
marveling at how well the other has "held up" over the years. The heat
is still very present, which yes, I know is rare.

As far as I know, men can't "fake it" ;-)

I watch a lot of *real* forensic shows on like, Discovery Channel, etc.
Some of those career criminal guys do *look* hot, but I'd be afraid to
even talk to them.

The women who put up with their behavior deserve it, but their children
do not - often they're much more victimized by these creatures.

Drives me nuts. OK, nuttiER.

No hair on the legs? No hair under the arms?

No hair... down there?

Wow.

It's pretty obvious that women are attracted to men who they feel can
protect them. It's an instinct. But "nice guy" doesn't necessarily
mean "wimp". Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise seem like nice guys and women
LOVE them.

OK, you need more. That was just what I could find in 5 minutes worth
of web browsing. I'll crank up Google this weekend and find a page or
two of examples for you. Nothing gets cops and prosecutors excited like
a good sex crime.
