It was a solid episode, and I enjoyed it. It had a lot of great gags, though
the ending was a little strange. B

Oh, yeah. This is ludicrous. Stores most certainly carry pants in
this size. I know this from experience, since I weigh--hey, hey!

Oh, well. I weigh ~275, and wear a 44. Unless Homer's at his ``Big
fat dynamo'' weight, he can probably find just about anything for his
size.

Actually, this is more of a reference to ``... Hut'' in Life in Hell,
where the phrase is used quite often.

FYI:

Magritte is the name of the 1898-1967 Belgian painter; one of foremost
Surrealist painters; who used spatial manipulation, metamorphic
themes, and iconographic images in his art.

Rene Magritte is frequently hailed as one of the first 1960s 'Pop Artists', though he
usually denied it.

A lot of his later work features the absence of people's faces - they were usually
substituted by other parts of the anatomy or incongruous objects. There's one (the
name of which eludes me), which has an umbrella emerging from a human torso.

Then there was the guy with a green apple for a head. I seem to remember a
Bizarro panel where a salesclerk was suggesting a particular tie because "it
goes so well with your apple."

You would think he'd have it transplanted onto his head, or something.
