Celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Simpsons and the 404th year of
Macbeth, Sydney Theatre Company presents almost certainly the funniest
version of Shakespeare’s masterpiece ever performed (we know, it’s
supposed to be a tragedy!).

In a hilarious one-man vocal spectacular, acclaimed Canadian theatre-
maker Rick Miller performs over 50 different voices, presenting the
bard’s classic as it would be performed by the characters from the
cult TV show.

This multi-media spectacular has entertained more than half a million
people in 150 cities worldwide with its ingenious blend of pop culture
and Shakespeare – a must-see for fans of The Simpsons, and of that
other cultural icon, William Shakespeare.

Suitable for ages 12 and above.

Someone should remind Rick Miller that the Montreal Fringe Festival
turns 20 this year, and it might be nice to see him there, where his
humble beginnings began. I'm sure the incident where he threw a
beret into the audience and nearly hit a member of the press is
long forgotten.
