There were many actors in Twighlight Zone episodes that also appeared in
Rockford Files yet James Gardner wasn't in a single episode of TZ. That is
odd...

But the main point is that Garner was an indentured servant of Jack Warner,
who was personally in control of his time. Even if Garner wanted to appear
on "Twilight Zone", it was produced by another studio. Warner wouldn't
have considered it unless there was something in it for his studio.

It was common for stars of other Warner television Westerns to appear
on episodes of various Warner series, but on a show produced by another
studio? I can't think of any off hand. Anyone?

Amazing. I get attacked on this newsgroup for really stupid shit, but
nobody noticed the absolutely laughable blunder I made a week ago.

Beau was played by Roger Moore. The character of Jim Rockford began life
with Roy Huggins updating Bret Maverick to modern-day Los Angeles with
film noir elements added, to make it something of an old-fashioned
detective story.

James Garner's most famous role was Bret, of course, not Beau. duh

In the Bond newsgroup, I said that Roger Moore had played Brent
Sinclair, not Brett (with 2 t's) Sinclair! I'm having a hard time of it.

Robert Colbert played Brother Brent in two 4th season episodes of "Maverick".

I still check in on a daily basis, just been terribly busy. And,

Last I heard, RNeill was at the Sulvi Dapp Pitch and Putt teaching
Edward Moss the fine art of nine iron swinging. Oh, and they did
clear the beach for him a ways back, if I recall. I believe he found
a locket in the sand that once belonged to Linda Bannister. He
celebrated his find by having a smoked meat on rye at the Sandcastle,
and for some crazy reason, ordered extra pickles on the side.
