What's going on here? Is there any way to delete these posts or block
them?

There's no way to delete them from Usenet. If your ISP is letting
a lot of spam postings through, you might want to talk with them.
If it's just a few (I see three in the past month), just use your
newsreader's filters to block specific senders, IP blocks, etc.

It's the beauty and curse of it all. Anyone can post anything they
want . . . and . . . anyone can post anything they want. :)

Nice to know there are other lurkers out there in case I feel a post
coming on. Since I don't, let me wish everyone a Merry Christmas and
Happy Holidays, whichever holidays you support. Or don't. Or even
have mixed feelings about. :)
