Longest radio show record broken
By Sarah Rollo, Entertainment Reporter

A German DJ who finished his morning radio programme a week after it
began has broken a world record, his station has claimed.

Dominik Schollmayer presented his Hit Radio Antenne slot for 169 hours,
beating the record for the longest continuous radio show.

The previous record, which was one hour shorter, had been held by an Indian DJ.

Schollmayer, 26, was allowed to play two consecutive records of up to
six minutes but had to broadcast something after that, The Daily
Telegraph reports. He was also allowed a 15-minute break every three
hours.

Sleep deprivation saw the DJ "dancing wildly" around the studio as the
final hours approached.
