Holly says...Well, you know how mankind evolved from apes?
Lister replies.. Yeah I know that.
Holly says...He evolved from cats. His ancestors were cats. He's descended
from cats. He is a cat.
So, does this mean in a Darwinian mentality; We evolved from monkeys. Our
ancestors were monkeys. We descended from monkeys. We are monkeys?
So in some alternate universe or another galaxy like NGC 3938, someone is
watching Red Dwarf and hearing the following;
Holly says...Well, you know how mankind evolved from cats?
Lister replies.. Yeah I know that.
Holly says...He evolved from monkeys. His ancestors were monkeys. He's
descended from monkeys. He is a monkey.
And when Lister and Monkey meet, instead of a bowl of crispies and milk,
Monkey get's a banana?

Apes. Not monkeys.
I always love when shows use this statement: "Man evolved from Apes."
Like humanity came from Chimps or Gorillas.
With this mentality we could say that Man evolved from single celled
microbes, so we are single-celled microbes.
Monkeys, apes, chimps, gorillas...they's all family! Just look at Lister.
;-)

"And I owe it all to this feisty feline!"
"Dad, feline's a cat."
"Elephant, sweetie. It's an elephant."

Ahh, you've been the same clubs as me then.
