Subject: Jim Caviezel sighting
Saw the movie Outlander on TV over the weekend. It was reassuring to learn
that Caviezel sucks air in other roles. A wooden totem pole could have
shown more acting ability. The farcical facial expressions were exactly
like the ones he used in The Prisoner. Guy was awful.

Can anyone point me at a performance of his that didn't suck? I'd like to
see if the guy has even a shred of acting ability.

Apparently, he was crucified for another performance too...

It may be that Jim Caviezel is a talented and versatile stage actor who now
gets picked to play "Jim Caviezel" in everything he does on screen.

Hollywood LOVES "typed" actors who get in front of the camera and deliver
what they always deliver because there is an assumption that the audience is
not smart enough to accept them acting differently in other roles.

OF COURSE this is stupid, but it's easier to offer the same old same old
(another sequel/reinvention, anyone?) than to offer real brain food by
coming up with new plots and using actors differently.
