Summer scoops:
Ron Carlivati says that there are so many couples who are in a
will-they-or won't-they scenario and the big question is, will love
win out?
The Baby Story: RC says he thinks everyone's wondering who gets the
baby in the end. The search for the truth about the baby has brought
Starr and Cole together, so Starr is also wondering if giving the baby
over to Marcie will destroy all the progress that she and Cole have
made. When Jessica is finally forced to confront the truth that her
baby died, what will it do to her psyche?
Todd/Tea/Blair/John/Marty: Tea's near death experience really has an
impact on Todd. You'll see what has been predominantly a sexual
relationship getting deeper coming out of sweeps. There are real
feelings under the surface between Todd and Tea. With the dust
settling from the KAD murder mystery, Marty and John also grow closer
just like Todd and Tea, but John is still married to Blair. Meanwhile,
the dynamic changes between Blair and Tea and Todd.
Gigi/Rex/Stacy: Stacy is trying to worm her way into Rex's bed and
into his heart. Gigi is left out in the cold, except for the fact that
she teams up with Schuyelr. They have different motives, but they
share a common desire to get the goods on Stacy.
Clint/Bo/Nora: Nora's engagement to Clint seemeingly puts an end to
any growing little thing between Bo and Nora, but Rachel starts to
question her mother on why she got engaged to Clint and if she's
trying to push away feelings for Bo. Greg, who is Shaun and Desitiny's
brother and a doctor, shows up and gives the Buchanans hope for the
first time that there may be a chance Matthew could walk

Renee Elise Goldsberry (ex-Evangeline, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) and husband
Alexis Johnson recently welcomed their first child a baby boy they
named Benjamin. A spokesperson for the new parents says, "Both mom and
baby are doing great. Their family is overjoyed, and they are praising
God for this perfect miracle. Renee thanks all of you for your support
and constant encouragement. In lieu of cards or gifts, she asks for
your continued prayers and well wishes. They truly work wonders
because Benjamin is a dream come true!"

We've been craving a little Catherine Hickland in our lives for awhile
now. When last we saw her character Lindsay on "One Life to Live," she
was being carted off to Statesville Prison to serve out her term for
murdering evil Spencer Truman (in the middle of her wedding to Bo,
natch). Ever since then, we've missed her wild and sexy femme-fatale
ways.
Fortunately, relief is coming! Lindsay will be returning to "One Life
to Live" this June. Look for her to play into the Bo and Nora story
(for those not watching---and here's why you should---we've been
seeing some feelings rekindled between exes Bo and Nora, despite her
being engaged to his brother, Clint).

OLTL is planning to introduce the estranged parents of the late Nash
Brennan (Forbes March), who died last June. Portraying Nash's mother
Cindy Brennan will be Broadway star Jan Maxwell. Best known for her
roles in theater productions such as "The Sound of Music," "The King
and I," "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang," and "Dancing with Lughnasa," the
Tony and Drama Desk Award winning actress has also made numerous
television appearances, including "Law & Order" and "Gossip Girl." In
addition, Maxwell also made several appearances on "All My Children"
during the summer of 2007 as Judge Myatt. In the role of Nash's father
Phil will be fellow Broadway performer John Wojda. The actor is best
known for his appearances on "Law & Order," "Third Watch," and as a
construction worker in the 2000 remake of the movie "Shaft." Look for
Maxwell and Wojda to first air as Phil and Cindy Brennan on May 28th,
when Bess (pretending to be their former daughter-in-law Jessica)
arrives on the Brennan's doorstep with baby Hope.
Parker Fong portrays Little Girl #1 on June 25th. Other television
appearances include "Sex and the City."
John Rochette portrays a Delivery Man on July 1st. The actor's daytime
credits include bit parts on "OLTL" as an Indie Band Drummer and
Photographer, "All My Children" as a Valley Inn Waiter, "Guiding
Light" as Harris. Also around that time, look for more dayplayer roles
on June 17th and 18th, along with July 3rd.
Eric Martin Brown pops up again as Stacy's former Vegas boss Stan on
June 1st.
Jean Randolph "returns" on June 3rd as Viki Davidson (Erika Slezak)
feigns releasing her cold, calculating gatekeeper personality in an
attempt to reason with Bess.

******
Bess resists allowing Jessica to reemerge when Brody calls again, but
she can't fight Tess, who tries to make Bess see that she can't raise
Chloe alone. Bess pushes Tess from her mind and develops a plan. Brody
is determined to find Jessica. Bess arrives at Nash's parents home and
they invite her and the baby to stay. The Brennan's catch Viki's
televised appeal to Jessica, and question Bess who manages to explain.
Brody is close to finding Jessica.
John and Blair agree it's time that Michael, Marcie, Starr and Cole
know the truth about Hope. Blair reaches out to Todd. Todd learns that
Tea has survived the surgery, and invites her to recuperate at his
home. John and Marty share a passionate kiss but agree the time is not
right for them to make love.
Schuyler tells Gigi he thinks Stacy tampered with the stem cell
transplant. Stan tells Rex that Stacy stole money from him, but when
Rex questions Stacy about it, she talks her way out of the jam. Stacy
bails Kyle out of jail. When Schuyler sees Kyle at the lab, he begins
to put everything together. Stacy plans to pay off Stan by taking
money from Rex. Rex sees Gigi and Schuyler together.
Dorian explains to Markko and Langston how Lola tampered with their
condoms and confessed to killing her mother.
Christian and Layla become unlikely roommates.
Nora admits to Bo that she and Clint are engaged.
******
Tuesday:
Bess and Tess don't see eye to eye.
Blair reaches out to Todd.
Natalie and Jared's families are happy to learn they are married.
Wednesday:
Tea and Blair agree their secrets are best forgotten.
John and Marty kiss.
Roxy keeps her deal with Kyle.
Thursday:
Bess arrives at Nash's parents' home.
Cristian and Layla become roommates.
Friday:
Blair, Todd and Marty tell Cole and Starr, and John tells Michael and
Marcie about Hope.
******
After hemming and hawing about whether or not to tell Starr and Cole
about Hope's existence, Blair decides it's time to spill the truth.
Llanview's most troubled teens finally learn that baby Hope never died
-- and has been living in Llanfair under the name Chloe. Not one to do
things in a small way, Blair gathers everyone concerned (including
Marcie and Michael) at La Boulaie for the big reveal. How will Starr
and Cole react?
Meanwhile, Bess has absconded with the baby in question and has
hightailed it out of town to her former in-laws' house. Nash's parents
are more than happy to welcome a grandbaby into their home, but they
start to suspect something is amiss when they see Viki giving a
televised appeal for information about Jessica.
With most of the town caught up in the kidnapping scandal, it leaves
time for Schuyler to inject himself into the middle of Rex and Gigi's
domestic drama. He tells Gigi about his suspicions regarding her
sister Stacy (i.e. that she's faking her bone marrow match status),
and everyone's favorite bar wench decides enough is enough and fixes
to get her man back. Stacy's nefarious past in Vegas has not stayed in
Vegas and instead shows up in Llanview. Her old boss is looking for
some money she stole -- too bad she's already given it as a payoff to
Kyle for keeping her secrets secret. What will Rex think when all this
deception blows up in Stacy's face?
Blair and Tea, fresh from sharing deathbed confessions with each other
in the KAD basement of doom, are now faced with the embarrassing fact
that neither of them died. What's a girl to do when her romantic
nemesis knows her dirty little love secrets? Deny, deny, deny, of
course. It seems neither lady is copping to being in love with Todd --
and Tea is most definitely not forthcoming about that big secret she's
harboring. What's Tea's secret?!? We're dying to know.
All this, PLUS: Nora admits to Bo that she's engaged to his brother
Clint; the curtain is slowly drawn back on the identity of Rex's
father, as we learn he's very much alive and out of the hospital; and
Layla gets a sexy new roommate in the form of ... Cristian Vega.

i'm looking fwd to lindsay's return!
This is disappointing. Every time a character gets a major handicap, they
have to resolve it immediately. Why can't there be an honest-to-goodness
blind person or paraplegic on the canvas? Why can't they show that
handicapped people can learn to live relatively normal lives, instead of
making it out like it's the most horrible thing that can ever happen and
they won't be capable of functioning again until some miracle doctor fixes
it? How nice it would be to have a handicapped person on the show who is
simply a part of the neighborhood, whose life doesn't revolve around getting
cured.

I agree. After McBain overcame severe burns that apparently didn't even
require extensive plastic surgery, however, I pretty much gave up.
