I broke my boycott and taped today's show because I read that Will was going to visit and I totally used to have the hots for him back when he was a regular character (he's still adorable).
Observations:
1. What in the holy hell was going on with Dorian's hair? It looked like a big red cat died on on the side of her head? Was she going to a costume ball or was this the result of Roxy? Why would Dorian (who always looks so put together) go out in public with her hair so ridiculous?
2. Why is CH (Lindsay) not on contract? Her tearful speech to will was heartbreaking. She really is a good actress. She looked so shattered. I hope she didn't kill Truman.
3. RJ!!!! YEAH! Another character that was unjustly dumped by TPTB. Put him back on contract and give him a storyline STAT!
4. Why is Nora being allowed to prosecute this case given the YEARS of acrimony between her and Lindsay?
Haven't watched today's ep yet but i can answer question 1 - Dorian's hair was a result of Roxy! She had a cut she didn't like and then went to Roxy to touch it up and Roxy helped her with a "makeover" - which caused much amusement when soon after Rex and Adrianna came in to see Roxy. More gentle ribbing from all when they later went to Roxy about Dorian not only looking like she did but also drinking a (gasp) beer. Like i say i haven't seen today's episode yet so don't know if it looked just like it did yesterday but it's possible that what was presented today was even wilder the day before!
Agreed about CH needing to be back on contract ... there's been a lot of Emmy buzz about her lately - the only question is (which i've asked around about on other forums) is would she actually be eligible given her recurring status? From what i've been able to gather if she was in at least 19% of episodes for the eligibility period, she would be.
RJ hasn't been on in awhile so i'm looking forward to seeing him! Never really cared for the actor playing Will but still excited about seeing him simply because it's always good when a character not on canvas who really should be on the show for a story purpose does indeed come on instead of having lame excuses written in...and Will definately needs to be on the show right now with all that's going on.
Nora's impartiality is the Million Dollar question. This has been brought up by several characters to which Nora insists she's fully capable of being impartial and professional. Have a feeling that this will come up more later...while people have mentioned this either with Nora or with other people on the show, it's not been mentioned in the courtroom and may be a trump card that Team Lindsay is saving if they're not bringing it up now - if Lindsay is found guilty they could appeal based on the fact that even if Nora could be impartial, the appearance of impartiality would still be compromised based on their publicly well-known history.
..oh and i should add to my previous post - to those who have been boycotting OLTL - Dena Higley's name finally disappeared from the credits last week so this may be a good time to check back in! Yes, even though now Ron Carlivati is fully in the driver's seat, he still has a lot of mess to clean up but i am feeling quite optimistic about his ability!

There's a little story on this. Last week she asked someone (Blair?) how her hair looked, and then complained that the stylist took too much off and she was so mad, etc. Then the other day, she was at Roxy's, getting extensions, complaining about the haircut once again. I think Robin Strasser got an unattractive haircut in real life, and they wrote it into the show.

I don't know if you saw her scenes with Todd in their respective jail cells a few weeks ago, but she was awesome. Lindsay kicked ass and took names where Todd was concerned. The gist of their conversation was that she told him there was no way he'd get away with taking Michael and Marcie's baby away from them; that she'd lay down her own life if she had to. Just when I thought this meant she'd kill Todd (she was already in jail for murder anyway, after all--what's one more?), she coldly told him that if he didn't leave M&M alone, she'd tell Jack what Todd had done to him when he was born. Her cold, calculated voice, with just a hint of panic underneath, was brilliant. Unfortunately, Todd retaliated by saying if she messed with anyone in his family, he'd "hurt" Will. Damn I wish she'd gotten that on tape. Maybe she eventually will.
> I hope she didn't kill Truman.
I don't think she did. I have a spec, and I'll put it at the end of this so that there will be spec space...

I wonder if they are hoping to have the case thrown out if it doesn't go their way? Perhaps allowing Nora to prosecute, knowing that they could probably have it overturned later by saying that she'd been biased?
The idea that whoever killed Spencer actually meant to do it is ridiculous, because NOBODY knew he was in Blair's room! The killer could only have been someone who was a friend of Blair's, or hospital staff--someone who would have walked in on the scene, saw what he was doing, and reacted instinctively. So here's what I think happened.
After Spencer knocked Marty out and put her in the on-call room, he returned to Blair. Just as he was bending over her, Paige walked in to check on Blair. He turned around and said, "You." I think the fact that they've mentioned SEVERAL times that Lindsay didn't even know Spencer is a clue that she wasn't actually the one. It had to have been someone he knew, because he recognized the killer. So Paige grabbed the scissors and stabbed him, just as Lindsay walked in. As Spencer was dying, he said something about how Tommy was Todd's son. Lindsay and Paige made a pact: Lindsay wouldn't tell about the murder, and Paige wouldn't tell about Tommy. Paige was covered in blood, so Lindsay took her dress and left with it, while Paige changed into clean scrubs.
Later, when it became obvious that Paige was about to be discovered, she left for a remote area where, as she said, she probably couldn't be found. Lindsay, vowing to keep her word, didn't give her up when she herself was charged for the murder. I think that at the last minute Paige will send a confession.

Great scenario! All of it... sounds perfect to me! That's just what I wanted when Paige said she was leaving town. :)
It answers the question of why Lindsay would confess if she's not guilty nicely. bj

I really like your scenario. It really doesn't make any sense for it to be anyone EXCEPT Paige really.

You're right. I've always thought it was peculiar how she phrased any discussion of her part in what is going on. Why not say she did it... if she did, to those in her confidence?

Me too. I think your other scenario is the best... but who knows what they will do? bj

Hi, I'm ...geminiwalker. I've been watching OLTL for years, but am finding it particularly good lately. I think it started with the Starr/ Cole storyline, but I'm also liking Jessica and Nash, I love Vicki and Dorian (always have), Rex is so darn hot - but I think it's all the music that's really got me hooked!
But I expected to see Will when Jen died! I mean, really! He could at LEAST have come home for that!
Yep, that's exactly what i meant! Will's not being there when Jen died was a perfect example of how actor availablity (or TPTB's willingness to even approach them) really interferes with the show in a big way. But at least the last time we saw Will before this latest run was when he came back for Sam's death so i guess that's plus 2 points and minus 1!
