Monday, June 22: Blair and Tea have it out over Todd.

Tuesday, June 23: Layla dismissed Cristian's doubts about dating Fish.
******

Monday, June 22:
Todd surprises Starr and Cole with his consent.
Rex and Stacy get busted.

******

August is going to be a hot, sticky mess in Llanview -- and we're not
talking humidity, folks. What we ARE talking is our best legalese,
because Tea Delgado will meet her match in the form of Elijah Clarke,
a gentleman lawyer who has Tea's number in more ways than one. Not
only will he be going up against Tea in the courtroom for what will
surely be a rancorous cage match to end all cage matches, but Elijah
also has something more threatening up his sleeve ... the key to Tea's
big secret!

We've been waiting for Tea to meet someone with the legal cojones to
challenge her dominance of the Llanview Superior Court Circuit -- and
Elijah could be the one we've been hoping for. It should come as no
surprise that he'll get hired by Todd, who has just about every lawyer
in a 200-mile radius on retainer. But what WILL be shocking is what
other couple hires him to take on their very surprising adversary.

Elijah will be portrayed by Matt Walton, best known to soap fans for
playing Annie's creepy ex-husband on "All My Children." He's also been
seen on "Rescue Me," "Law & Order," and "Guiding Light." Our SOAPnet
Ouiji board is telling us Elijah will make his Llanview debut on
Thursday, August 6th.

Rex makes love to Stacy but begins to remember some things that she
said the night she drugged him. Gigi takes Schuyler's advice and tells
Natalie and Jared the truth. They agreed to drop the charges against
Kyle but insisted that Gigi come clean with Rex. Realizing that Kyle
is blackmailing Roxy, Natalie and Jared tell her to reveal the
identity of Shane's bone marrow donor.

Marty is desperate to keep Cole out of jail and asks John to help them
disappear.

Tea gets even with Todd and his troubles only escalate when Blair
calls him on his bluff.

Shaun's brother Greg, a surgeon estranged from his family, says that
he's confident he can get Matthew to walk again.

Todd infuriates Starr when he consents to her marriage to Cole, but
has his own agenda. She challenged her father to prove his love for
her.

Next week: Rex and Gigi share an emotional encounter.

******

There's a new casting script out for Ross. It appears that he's the
guy that was trapped on the island with Tea and he's been tracked down
by Blair to get the goods on Tea.

Legendary Motown crooner Lionel Ritchie becomes the latest in a long
list of talented musicians to appear on "One Life to Live."
With a career spanning four decades, the Grammy award-winning Ritchie
has experienced widespread success not only in the United States, but
also in Europe and the Middle East.

Ritchie's latest album, "Just Go," was released this spring. On June
12th, he will stop by the "OLTL" studios to record a version of the
hit single of the same name from the album. Look for his scenes to air
sometime in late July.

As noted, Ritchie becomes the latest in a long-list of big name
musicians that have appeared on "One Life to Live" in recent years.
According to "OLTL" Executive Producer Frank Valentini, "I don't want
to have somebody on just because, 'Oh, aren't they fun?' I want people
with a record to promote. It helps the record label, and it helps us
with increased ratings and as milestones in the history of the show
that people still talk about."

******

Blair and Ta duke it out over Todd.

Layla and Cristian don't see eye-to-eye concerning her relationship
with Fish.

Todd bowls Starr over with his new attitude.

Todd finds himself up the creek without a paddle.

Natalie gives Gigi an earful.

Stacy suffers a nervous breakdown.

******

Gossip Girl's Amanda Setton has been cast in the contract role of
Summer, who "will be involved in the Rex/Gigi/Stacy storyline. She
will first air in August."

John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex) recently told Soap Opera Weekly that Rex is
"the dumbest character on daytime."

******

As the mystery of Ta Delgado's mysterious secret begins to unravel,
"One Life to Live" works to recast a familiar face from her past.

Back in 2002, Todd Manning's dasterdly plan to steal his children away
from ex-wife Blair hit a snag when he, Ta, and Ross Rayburn, one of
the goons Todd had hired to assist in the kidnapping, find themselves
shipwrecked on a deserted island. In the weeks and months that
followed, a twisted long triangle developed between the three
castaways.

After witnessing a kiss between Ta and Ross, Todd is determined to
get off the island anyway he can. As he is about to depart however, he
is confronted by Ta, who declares her love for him. After the couple
make love for the first time, Ta discovers a picture of Blair in
Todd's wallet. Realizing he still carries a torch for his old flame,
she painfully urges him to reunite with his family. After making a
homemade raft, Todd paddles himself out to sea, where he eventually
washes ashore on the U.S. island territory of Guam. Some time later,
both Ta and Ross are rescued from the island.

Viewers were left to speculate as to what exactly happened to Ta in
the six years between her island adventure and her return to Llanview
last December. Fans were futher intrigued by the revealtion that the
character harbors a deep, dark secret. Now it appears that the truth
may soon be revealed.

Last week "OLTL" issued a casting call for the role of Ross, which was
originally portrayed by Shawn Christian (Daniel Jonas, "Days of Our
Lives"). With Christian, spending his 'Days' in Salem, the soap is
looking to recast the role. Although some of the names and character
traits have been changed in the audition script to try to throw people
off, it is clear that Blair has tracked Ross down and that the two of
them are talking about Todd, Ta, and John.

The scene opens with 'Ross Raymond (aka Rayburn)' asking 'Millie
Durgan' if she is in need of assistance, and quickly recognizing her
identity. Millie informs him that she remembers that he is the scum
who helped 'Rick' kidnap her kid several years ago. When he attempts
to assure her that he was just following orders, she erupts in anger.
Trying to calm her down, he reminds her the plan was a failure, it was
a long time ago, and that she should enjoy her visit to Tahiti. Still
angry, Millie gives him the cold shoulder.

Ross tells her that's he sorry, to which Millie tells him that he can
keep his sympathy. She goes on to say that she is actually there to
dig up some dirt on 'Amanda Taylor,' whom Ross claims he hasn't seen
since they rescued from the island. Millie fires back by telling him
that she had heard that he had a woman living with him last year. Ross
shrugs off her accusations by saying that he is a lady's man, and that
he has been with lots of women.

After warning him that he better be telling the truth, Millie starts
to call her brother, a cop and former FBI Agent. Taunting Ross that he
would to hear the whereabouts of a fugative, he responds by claiming
that the feds can't touch him since he is on foreign soil. After
warning him that he doesn't know what her brother is capable of, Ross
asks Millie if Amanda has been talking about him much. Millie replies
that Amanda has not said one word about him, but that it is clear that
something happened between her time on the island and her return to
Llanview last December.

Ross asks Millie why she is so worried about Amanda. She tells him to
mind his own business and that all he should be worried about his
maintaining his freedom. As the scene draws to a close, Ross tells
Amanda that she must have some serious issues with Amanda to travel
half-way around the planet to get the goods on her. Futhermore he
questions Millie about what she will do once he tells her what she
wants to know, and asks her what will stop her from contacting her
brother anyway.

Since "OLTL" reguarly tapes about 4-6 weeks in advance, and this role
is still in the casting process, it will likely be sometime later this
summer before it will air.

******

Despite earlier reports that she was 'this close' to signing a new
deal with "One Life to Live" to reprise her signature role of Kelly
Cramer, it now appears that Gina Tognoni won't be returning to
Llanview after all.

With the demise of "Guiding Light' all but certain come September,
speculation recently began to surface that the actress, who has
portrayed Dinah Marler since 2004, might be interested in returning to
her old stomping ground of Llanview. As the rumors persisted, numerous
media outlets reported that Tognoni and ABC were in negotiations. It
appeared as if a deal was nearly finalized.

All that changed late last week when TVGuide Canada's The Suds Report
broke the news that the two sides had failed to reach an agreement.
Apparently the sticking point appeared to be Tognoni's salary, should
she agree to return to "OLTL" in the role she originated in 1995. A
set-side source revealed to The Suds Report that "She asked for too
much money, so ABC passed."

Information surfaced recently that Tognoni apparently turned down
offers from two west coast soaps ("The Young and the Restless" and
"The Bold and the Beautiful") in order to remain in New York City with
her new husband. The Daytime Emmy winner is also reported to have
turned down the role of Carly on "General Hospital" (which was
originated by Sarah Brown). That's leaves "All My Children" and "As
the World Turns" as the only potentially viable offers for Tognoni in
terms of daytime soaps. And given that she turned down "GH" and
demanded too much money from "OLTL," it would seem unlikely that ABC
would be very eager to offer her a job on "AMC." And, as far as "ATWT"
goes, its future appears rocky at best. But, after all, this is
daytime television, and stranger things have happened

******

Jeremih (Felton), whose recently released debut single "Birthday Sex"
has climbed to the top of the charts, teams up with Lionel Richie when
the Motown legend makes his "One Life to Live" debut late next month.

The R&B newcomer taped scenes with the crooner on "OLTL's" UltraViolet
set last Friday, which are set to air sometime in July, according to
an ABC press release.

Says "OLTL" Executive Producer Frank Valentini, "We are proud to have
hosted a tremendously talented group of musicians on 'One Life to
Live.' We welcome the enduring talents of such an accomplished
musician as Lionel Richie and the creativity of a new artist like
Jeremih. We look forward to bringing our fans a first time
collaboration between these two very talented musicians."

"Chicago sensation Jeremih boasts the unique accomplishment of
achieving the No. 1 MySpace song for more than three weeks with 60
million plays and counting for his song "Birthday Sex." The
21-year-old singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumental
musician also has achieved the No. 1 spot on Urban Radio for the past
four weeks, No. 2 at Rhythm radio, the No. 1 most added at Pop radio
last week. He is currently holding the No. 4 position on Billboard's
Hot 100 chart and No. 1 on Billboard's Ringmasters chart. His
self-titled debut album, "Jeremih," is set to be released on June
30th," the statement goes on to say.

Jeremih will accompy Richie during a performance of the Oscar, Golden
Globe and five-time Grammy Award winner's latest hit single "Just Go,"
from his album of the same title.

Gigi finally tells Rex this week about all of Stacy's misdeeds. Farah
Fath says this time her character is not backing out of it. Gigi wants
answers from Kyle, but he says only if she gets Jared and Natalie to
back off of him with their blackmail charges. She summons
Jared/Natalie to Rodi's and tells them to just trust her and that it's
a life and death situation and for her son. They refuse unless Gigi
tells them why. Schuyler talks Gigi into telling them and they tell
her that she needs to tell Rex. With Jared, Natalie, and Schulyer's
support she marches over to Ultraviolet to do it. Gigi tells Rex
everything Stacy's done and how happy she is that he never fell for
her tricks. Rex feels that his whole world has come crashing down
around him and now he has to admit to Gigi that he had sex with Stacy.
******

Lionel Richie will make a special daytime appearance to perform his
new single, "Just Go." He will appear in scenes with Todd and Tea.

Terrell Tildford plays Greg Evans, Shaun's brother, on June 23.

Matt Walton plays Elijah Clarke. Elijah is a lawyer who will play into
Tea's big secret. He will also be involved with the Buchanan's. First
airs August 6.

******

Although the Todd/Marty romance was taboo, Trever St John says he had
no reservations about playing it. "It's not up to me. I'm at the point
now where I let them tell whatever story they want. As for Susan
Haskell, he says "She's fearless. She really propels vigor into
whatever she's doing; she really goes for it. I enjoyed working with
her and I'm still enjoying it. Last I heard, the fans liked us working
together, so I think they're going to keep finding reasons to throw us
into scenes together." He also bestows praise on his current leading
lady, Florencia Lozano. TSJ says "I'm really loving working with her.
Florencia is ballsy. She's a great listener, she likes to play, she
likes to improvise, she's always open to stuff. She acts very in the
moment, which is what I like to do."

TSJ says that he doesn't think the Emmy's have any worth and they have
no value outside the show. He says that he content on working in the
genre, contrary to frequent rumors that he is restless. He says "I'm
enjoying myself. I'm doing some different stuff, and I'm having a lot
of fun." He says his only problem with the show is that he's playing a
grandfather even before he hits 40. He says "Yeah, it's pretty
ridiculous. Of course, if Kassie were here, she would say (mimics her
Southern drawl), 'That's because I'm old'"

On if Todd was redeemed by Powell's kidnapping Todd & Marty: "It's
open to interpretation."

On the Todd/Tea pairing: "I'm really enjoying it and I hope the fans
are - and express themselves that they are enjoying it."

John-Paul Lavoisier says that Rex is a somewhat drunk and lonely
before he has sex with Stacy. JPL says it starts when Stacy shows up
at Ultraviolet. She tells him that she will cook him dinner, even dig
a hole to China for him. Rex had given her keys to UV so she could
have a dance studio and the dance mats are still on the floor. So they
have six minutes of sex on the dance mat. The next day Gigi tells Rex
the true about Stacy and he starts freaking out and asks why couldn't
she have told him this 12 hours ago. Those 12 hours will haunt Rex for
many months to come.

Bo is a little jealous this week when Clint finds a surgeon for
Matthew. Robert S Woods says Bo is jealous because of how he and Nora
have been getting closer and he's starting to miss her and then it's
Clint who brings in Greg, Shaun's brother. Bo and Nota want to know
what are the side effects if they left Matthew have the spinal
surgery. Greg says he could be worse off or die and Bo and Nora feel
like it's not worth it. RSW says the fans want Bo and Nora together.

Kyle and Fish had a sexual past in college. ABC says the story will

says that everyone's been really great and it's awesome that his small
role on the show is getting a little bigger.

Viki is sympathetic and understanding of what Marty is going through.
Realizing she has no one else to turn to, Marty seeks out John's help.
Her request is simple -- help her and Cole disappear. After talking
with Marty, John agrees to return to the LPD as Chief of Detectives,
but with one condition.

Clint informs Bo and Nora that he believes he has found someone that
can help Matthew to walk again. Across town, Shaun discusses his
brother, the surgeon, with Rachel. Destiny is fired from her job at
the country club after making sure Justin and Becca get what's coming
to them. Dr. Greg Evans arrives in town, promising to work miracles
with Matthew, much to little sister Destiny's delight. Later, Nora
believes Bo to be jealous that Clint was the one who found someone to
help Matthew instead of him.

Dorian makes progress in softening Aurelia's feelings toward her son's
girlfriend. Meanwhile, Moe, Charlie, and Shaun place a bug in
Ernesto's ear about Dorian's true nature. Afterward, as the two
concerned parents talk, Aurelia feels that Markko should be free to
see Langston, however, Ernestso refuses to budge. Seeing that she
still has work to do, Dorian vows to change Ernesto's mind and get in
Langston's good graces again.

Fish denies Cristian's allegations that he has the hots for Layla, and
later suggests that she apply for a receptionist job at the police
station.

When Todd walks in just as Cole is proposing to Starr, they are both
amazed by his reaction. Even after learning that Cole faces jail time,
he still agrees to sign the consent form. However, the wheels in
Todd's head are already starting to turn. At the same time, Blair
tries to convince Ta that the last thing she wants is to get back
with Todd. Despite her lingering anger toward Todd for jeopardizing
her career, Ta is nonetheless hurt when Todd agrees to relocate to La
Boulaie with Blair and the boys. Ta models Todd's behavior.
Meanwhile, Todd makes Blair look bad when she is unsure about signing
a consent form for her daughter to get married. Todd's smugness is
short-lived however, as Blair surprises him by signing the form. To
make matters worse, Ta exposes Todd's real agenda, forcing Starr to
challenge her father to prove his love for her.

At Schuyler's urging, Gigi puts the screws to Roxy. Although she
doesn't tell Gigi what she wants to know, Roxy continues to have a
guilty conscience. The Manager of the Llanview Country Club kicks Rex
and Stacy out just as they were about to get intimate. After being
arrested, Bo steps in to help them. Later, Rex confides to Bo that,
while his flesh may be weak, his heart still belongs to Gigi. Natalie
is livid when Gigi asks her and Jared to drop the charges against
Kyle. Unable to reveal the truth, Gigi can only claim that it would
benefit Shane. Natalie remains unfazed, even as Gigi points out that
they were once friends. Schuyler, meanwhile, confronts a guilty Kyle,
and later finds a nearly hysterical Gigi, convincing her to unburden
herself to Natalie and Jared. Rex urges Shane not to be so
disrespectful toward his mother, and later shares a heated exchange
with Brody while at the gym. While taking Bree to her ballet class,
Jessica encounters Stacy, who is now teaching the group. Natalie and
Jared are sympathetic to Gigi and her plight. They agree to drop the
charges against Kyle, but only if Gigi makes a full confession to Rex.
Back at the ballet studio, Jessica taunts Stacy by revealing she knows
what the bitch did to Gigi. Overwhelmed with emotion from Jessica's
verbal assault and Rex pulling away from her, Stacy suffers a nervous
breakdown in front the class. Later, however, her ego is stroked when
Rex puts the moves on her. After making love with Stacy, Rex begins to
have vague recollections of several comments she made the night she
drugged his drink. Gigi arrives at Ultraviolet with the intention of
confiding in Rex. Meanwhile, Natalie and Jared let Roxy in on the fact
they know Kyle is blackmailing her, and demand to know the name of the
real bone marrow donor. Gigi convinces Rex as to the type of person
Stacy really is. At the same time, Schuyler forces Stacy to accept
reality. Natalie and Jared confront Kyle.

Next week:
Starr begins to get ready for her wedding to Cole.
Undeterred, Stacy comes up with a new plan with regards to Rex.
Todd and Ta find old habits hard to break.
Nora asks Bo to tag along on her date with Clint.
John thinks he has a way to get Cole out of jail.
Dorian continues her quest to repair her relationship with Langston.

******

With the evidence against Stacy in her hands, Gigi decides it's time
to finally expose her evil sister to Rex. At Schuyler's urging, Gigi
tracks Rex down and confesses everything to him. Yes, Gigi tells Rex
EVERY little evil act that Stacy has performed since she came to town,
why she herself lied about sleeping with Brody, and professes her
total, unabashed love for him. What will Rex do? Should be interesting
-- considering he has sex with Stacy only hours before.

Todd Manning's back to his old manipulative ways this week -- and his
sights are set on daughter Starr. It seems her prison-bound boyfriend,
Cole, wants to tie the knot before heading off for two years' hard
time. Todd's livid, of course, but as usual he's thinking several
moves ahead. He gives his permission to marry Cole, but warns Starr
she must get her mother's OK as well. So what's Blair going to say
when her teenage daughter asks to marry the son of the woman who just
stole her husband? Todd's betting she says no, meaning he wins Starr's
favor while mom Blair is on the outs.

With Tea in residence at Todd's manor, Blair is refusing to move in
alongside her Latin nemesis. But Tea isn't happy when Todd agrees to
move into La Boulaie. With Starr being a single mother now, even Todd
thinks it's the sensible option. Jealous Tea decides to get a little
insurance and begins taping her conversations with Todd -- which can
only lead to trouble. Speaking of trouble, can we just say how excited
we are for Todd and Dorian to be living under one roof?

Clint brings a world-class neurosurgeon to town who's intent on making
Matthew walk again. Nora and Bo are thrilled, and begin to grow even
closer. Not exactly what Clint had in mind. Another interesting thing
about this Doctor to the Stars? He's Shaun and Destiny's no-good
brother.

All this, PLUS: Dorian tries to repair the damage she caused to Markko
and Langston's relationship; Cristian and Fish argue over what's best
for Layla; and there's a steam room showdown between Rex and Brody.

She slept with Fish after the Go Red Ball, remember. I think she'll find
she's pregnant with his baby, but will pretend it is Rex's. I know, I know,
four months is a HUGE difference in a pregnancy, but in Soapland it will be
easy to fake!

same old plot lines. why don't they surprise us by stacy not being
preggers nor pretending to be. that would be a novel twist, or perhaps
rex getting an STD? i wish the writers would step out of the box.
