Okay, Let's pretend you were given the temporary job of head writer
of OLTL and you were allowed to bring a few characters back to the
show (whether dead or not) who would you pick?

My choices

1) Tina, as played by Andrea Evans. It would be so great for Viki
and Todd to have their sister back. Imagine all the incredible
stories they could write for where Tina's been. Delve into her
relationship with both her half sister and her brother as well as her
daughter.

2) RJ I would put him back on contract and give him front burner
storylines. RJ was probably one of the best ever complex villian. He
did terrible bad things, but you never completely hated him because
the actor was so good at portraying him as real person and not a
cartoon character.

3) Mel, I would bring him back from the dead and put him in a hot
love triangle with Dorian and Clint

4) Joey (Nathan Fillian), it's ridiculous to have BOTH of VIki's
son's away. Joey was always my favorite out of the two. NF was the
first to play him as a complex young man

Your choices? and why?

NF's on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES this season, so, he's not available. Funny
thing, both Tuc & NF landing on DH this season.

Yes I know he's on DH this season. My post is pure fantasy. You can
bring back characters that have died in RL, are on other shows, etc.
It's just about who you'd LIKE to see back

Okay, sorry, it looked to me like it was 'wish fulfillment but possible'.

I'd like to see Tina, but not AE. I'd prefer Karen Witter or a
recast. AE was just such a one-dimensional airhead. KW brought the
lovely combination of a vulnerability that AE had never had the
subtlety to show, and a wisdom that the "older" Tina needed.

> 4) Joey (Nathan Fillian),

Oh yeah, the REAL Joey. I loved seeing him last month. The tension
between him and Dorian was thick enough to cut with a knife. Those
two had impeccable chemistry.

My choices:

1. Patrick & Marty. The REAL Patrick & Marty. And their kid who
would be a few years younger than Starr. Let it be that this Marty &
Cole were just impostors looking to inherit the real Thornharts'
fortune. Oh, and have it be that they were in hiding in Ireland all
this time, as they should have been, instead of Marty being this big
famous psychologist and everyone being surprised the Patrick had died.

2. Dare I say it? Todd. I've always held a hope that this buffoon
calling himself Todd Manning would end up being some nobody who got
Todd's memories implanted and has thought he was Todd ever since.
Make TSJ turn out to be the real Walker Lawrence (Miles' brother!),
and bring back Roger to play RealTodd. Then get him into an
interesting and dramatic storyline that has NOTHING TO DO WITH BLAIR.
In fact, seeing as how he's lived without Blair for the last half
dozen years or so, make him not even care about her any more, but
ready for new adventures with different people for a change.

3. You mentioned Mel, but I'd add his mom to that as well. Mel and
Mare were a great mother-son couple.

4. Max, Frank, and Leslie. The two teens could become a part of the
younger cast while still maintaining some history. Frank's deafness
could be an interesting angle for several stories--so long as they
don't make it all about him getting his hearing back! (It would be
nice to see a character with a major disability simply living with it
instead of their entire story revolving around curing it.)

5. Al. How, I don't know. Make it all a dream? A conspiracy? Dump
the McBain family altogether, then have Marcie discover that Al is
alive. Renew the old chemistry and get them into a great adventure
together.

6, Megan. It would be a task, seeing as how she died onscreen, but if
I could swing it I'd like to see my old favorite character return as a
newer, more mature woman. (And nobody but Jessica Tuck could play
her, of course.)

Well, naturally you know i'm going to agree with the Tina/Andrea Evans
thing. Lord knows we've been all over that in here you and i! LOL
Hmm.. lets see...

Marco Dane and Karen Wolek.... because--- well.. just because! Obvious
reasons- they were awesome together. Bring back Wanda Wolek too while
we are at it- just because i always liked her. Like some wise older
Aunt.
Though i am enjoying Judith Light a great deal on Ugly Betty. She is
just great in everything she is in IMO.

Gabrielle- because of the way her character got screwed over by the
writers. (hisssss)

Mrs. Bigalow! Because IMO she has been one of the neatest most unique
characters in a long time. She was not a "cookie cutter size zero 20-
something ditz" and i enjoyed that alot.
She was great fun to watch.. and you sort of never really knew what
she may or may not be capable of.. and that can be a scary thing LOL.

Mark, the gay guy from the Love Center fiasco. Because his character
also got screwed over by a really horrible story line that i am still
sort of ticked off about.

Jenn- oddly enough. I used to hate her when she first came on.. but
then somehow the actress got a tiny bit better and she grew on me and
i was pissed off when they murdered her. But there again.. the whole
Daniel Colson SL was major suckage that both she and Mark were
casualties of.

Cassie- because SOMEone needs to give Dorian a hard time when she
crosses the line and Cassie is so good at it.

Alison Perkins- because i love that actress.

R.J., Carlotta and some others that we hardly ever see anymore. David
of course because he is nice to look at and he's funny. But as we
know- he will be back.

Tilly, Maria, Carlo-- because they are great villains.

I know there are probably others but those are just off the top of my
head.

Cheers,
Eddie
