Layla and Chris

is there a more useless character on this show? i've always hated the
partner swaps but this one is particularly annoying as there is no
chemistry.

Layla never had much of a purpose except to be pivotol. i wish they
would get rid of her and bring in new blood.

I think the primary problem is that it is painfully obvious they are
only pairing Layla and Cris because they have nothing better to do
with either character.

Unlike Jess and Brody whose relationship developed slowly and
organically (and had two characters that generate MAJOR chemistry
together), you have Cris (a wooden actor at best) and underused Layla
who never seems to get a major storyline of her own like her sister
Evangeline did. I think they missed the boat by pairing Layla with
Fish. I think they would have been an adorable couple.

I'm sorry that Layla is back, apparently to stay for a while. I
always thought of her as a disposable character who just hangs on
someone else's coattails with nothing going of her own. Not crazy
about Cris as an actor either. Together they = big time dullsville.

The great thing about putting them together is that I dislike them so
much I manage to clean the house during their scenes so I can get
something done while ignoring them.

i thought chris would leave when his wife was written out. i expected
layla to be written out when evangeline left.
