OK why is no one on the show addressing that ROSS TRIED TO CHOKE OUT
TEA?? She should be pressing assault charges on his ass, yet
everyone seems to be behaving like it didn't even happen. WTF? I
don't care how upset he was wrapping your hand around a woman's throat
and tossing her around the room like a neanderthal is NOT acceptable.

I was thinking the same thing. Especially given how loudly Tea was
screaming! It seems to me that SOMEBODY at the hotel would have
reported a woman screaming bloody murder and called 911. And now, of
course, true to form, the only thing that Todd cares about is His Kid,
not the fact that he had to drag the abusive monster off of his
erstwhile wife.

Of course, all of this is simply to justify Tea's hiding Dani away
from Ross for all this time. Which, of course, Dani will never believe
anyway.

And Dani? Another rude female on the OLTL canvas? Did we really need
another one?

Ageee about the "Crazy wife beater" thing.
But on the other hand- Tea' has toyed with these peoples lives in a
huge and very unforgivable way. There are consequences for that-
always.. in soaps and in real life. Unfortunately sometimes violent.
Not sayin' she or any other woman deserves to be manhandled like
that-- but she isn't exactly without blame on this one. Especially
given she knows how violent Ross can be. If she were that afraid- she
should have ran out of the room and screamed for help before he had a
chance to put his hands on her. Not just walk all the way into the
room and engage him in confrontation.

And before any ladies (or guys) want to jump on me about this-- i grew
up with a very abusive, schizophrenic father and used to see him beat
my step-mother to a pulp when i was too young to do anything about it.
This is why i didn't speak to my dad the last 15-20 years or so of his
life. So- if you feel like getting on a soapbox to me about this-
forget it. I virtuallly made myself fatherless over this very issue.

Also- Tea's Harpy shriek could make even the most patient of Angels
wanna give her a good shake IMO.

That whole thing was really weird. Ross has thus far been portrayed as a
pretty sensible, calm character. His violence has always been in Tea's
description of him, not in his actions. I get that he was totally fed up
and wanting to send her a message, but that went way beyond message and into
near-murder mode. It was REALLY out of character for him.

no jumping here, you have a right to your opinion (and I'm sorry you
had to witness violence in your house as a kid).
Yes Tea was being a manipulator as always and she toyed with Ross, but
his reaction was SO scary and intense that he should be sitting in a
jail cell at the very least for it. He definitely needs some anger
management classes at the very least. I know it was a ploy to
justify Tea's fear of him and her hiding of DaNIELL-a (said like Tea
does) but I would have been less disgusted if he had just throw stuff
around the hotel room in a fit of rage. But the grabbing and the
tossing and the choking has killed any liking I had for this
character. It was the same way with me with Todd when he punched Tea
in the face all those years ago. I couldn't take his character for
years because I was so appalled by it.

I hear ya. And like Suzanne says- it is a tiny bit out of character-
with the exception of what we have heard from Tea'. And her wod isnt
exactly what i'd call Golden.
Back when Ross was on the show before- this was not in his character.
He had no anger issues that they made clear.
He even tried - (begged even iirc) Todd not to kidnap his own kids.

Cheers Jason,
E.
