Natalie and Jessica are twins. Their mother is Viki. But they have different
fathers, but they are still twins. That is odd ,but maybe not in soap opera
world. So I thought I heard Mitch Lawrence say that one was his daughter
and one his wife. This, if true is both odd and icky. So today he acted like
Jessica was really really his own daughter, but he is supposed to be Rex's
father too and now they say Rex and Natalie are brother and sister for real.
Have I gotten this totally wrong? What part is wrong and what part, if any
is right?

Ok, here goes the explanation on this, if my memory serves me correctly:

Years ago while Vicki was married to Clint, she was raped by Mitch.
Vicki gave birth to twins, but she did not know she had twins, she had
been drugged by her dr, Dr Balsam, Roxie's husband, who was also
working for/with Mitch. Dr. Balsam proceeded to take one of the babies,
Natalie, and raise her as his and Roxie's own, while leaving Jessica w/
Vicki and Clint, and leaving everyone to believe that Jess was Clint's
biological child. It was not discovered until years later that Jess was
actually Mitch's biological child while Natalie was Clint's biological
child (they are fraternal twins, not identical, and there have been a
some real life cases where a mother gave birth to twins by two different
fathers).

The whole reveal was put into place sometime after Rex came to town.
Rex thought he was a Buchanan, Jessica's brother/Clint's son. As we
did just find out, Jess & Rex are brother/sister; Mitch is their
biological father, although neither consider him their father and both
wish he weren't their biological father. Rex & Natalie were raised as
brother/sister; there is no biological connection between the two. When
Natalie married Mitch, she did not know that he was Jess' biological
father, and there is no biological connection at all between Natalie &
Mitch.

That is more confusing than ATWT. I had to read it twice but I think I got
it. I think I will keep this explanation in a good safe place to refer to.
