Does anyone else think this child behaves oddly? He's always being
shuffled off-screen quickly. Frequently being held and stares off
into space. He's old enough to act but is usually just a fixture.
Anyone else notice this? I have often wondered why they haven't
replaced him.

Yeah, I noticed that he doesn't seem to have much personality, and I have to
wonder if there is some serious shortage of adequate younger actors out
there, since all of the recent babies and teens seem to be played by BLAH
actors (with the exception of Jack). It's like the producers are getting
the kids of their relatives to play the newer parts. Anyone remember the
adorable red-haired twins who played Baby Matthew? Now THOSE were some
gorgeous, bright-eyed, animated kids! I was so sad when they SORASed him.

Actually i kind of like how very quirky and silent he tends to be -
actually fits with how messed up that kid must be having been bounced
between different parent figures and homes...plus his genetic makeup!

I hope this show is around for a good long time as i SO want to see how
Jack and Sam end up turning out as they get older - lots of
possibilities for them to be very intriquing characters (Starr
unfortunately is a lost cause)

Support the dying daytime drama genre. Watch One Life to Live - one of
television's best shows in daytime or primetime. Airing on ABC and
Soapnet.

Jack will be a force to be reckoned with I'm sure. I agree about
Starr. What happened to "Oh great one"?
