Hannah Montana who?!
Nickelodeon’s one-hour iCarly special on Saturday, iQuit iCarly, was a
HUGE ratings hit!
It drew 8.8 million viewers, including 4.7 million from ages 2-11, 3.9
million from 6-11, and 3.7 million from 9-14!
The show only fell behind Monday Night Football and the Monk series
finale on the cable rating charts for the week!
Wowsa!

I guess that shows that you can schedule a series for Saturday and
still draw in viewers if you play to the right audience.

Wow... that's over 12.3 million viewers between ages 2-14! ;)
So take THAT, Sprouse twins! :-p lol

I'd bet that if the iCarly episode had premiered on CW or NBC, less than 3
million would have watched it.
As a side note...it wasn't very good at all.
Good Gawd! You give me guff, and you actually *watch* this?!! Even I
have higher standards than "iCarly"!!!

No, you don't. You watch stuff like Wizards of Waverly Place. Every show
on Disney and ABC Family is worse than iCarly.
Except for the part where that claim is patently false, and ridiculous!
I have to disagree. "Sonny With a Chance" is worse than "iCarly." (Now
we wait for Ian to chime in.... okay.. ;) )
I don't "iCarly" is great TV but for whatever reason I do find it
entertaining. In the end that's all we can really ask of these shows.

Yep. iCarly is most definitely *not* great TV. It is, however, better than
the Disney/ABC Family offerings.

Really? Then how come I can't get through 5 minutes of an "iCarly" or a
"Suite Life on Deck" or a "Hannah Montana", but I can easily get through
30 minutes of "Sonny" and "Wizards"?!
But I literally can't get through an "iCarly" episode.
Ian (Meanwhile, Obv is a fool to even bring up ABC Family - "10
Things..." and "Make It or Break It" are so much better than anything on
either Disney or NICK, it's not even funny!...)

Err.. That was supposed to say "I don't think "iCarly" is great TV"

I like "Phineas and Ferb" on Disney. Can't say that I care for any of
the current offerings on ABC Family.
I prefer SpongeBob.

I think the theme song so damages your brain that any horrible show that
came after it would be a relief. We should put that theme on OUTER
SPACE ASTRONAUTS and see if it makes it viewable.

I'll let you know the next time they schedule a "Sonny" 'sing-along'
marathon...
