Question to all AOL users. Did any of you have a problem accessing the
newsgroups this morning? I tried several times, but I kept getting a message
saying "You do not have sufficient permission to access newsgroups."

There was a major fiber cut in the middle of the country. I was in the
middle of updating our web site when everything slowed down to nothing.
Could see servers all over the country but couldn't access any - kept
getting "Server does not exist" messages. Finally called my provider who
said all we could do was hang on while someone polished fiber ends.
