In the last 2 weeks I've finished the following 4 books:

1."The Story of King Arthur and his Knights" by Howard Pyle. This was a
lively and adroit retelling of the legend of king Arthur.

2. "The Canary Trainer" ny Nicholas Myer. Sherlock Holmes meets the
Phatom of the Opera. Need more be said???

3. "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carrol.

4. "Through the Looking Glass" by Lewis carrol.

And currently I'm reading "The sword and the Circle" by Rosemary
Sutcliff. King Arthur and the Knights of the round table.

And you?

Being involved in an intense class, if I finish a book by Agatha Christie
before the end of this session, I'll be lucky. I'm reading "The Clocks".

That makes three of us that read Hemingway's "A moveable Feast"! Now, all you
have to do is rent these two movies "Wings of Desire" and "City" of Angels"
back to back and we could get a discussion group going. AS to Jane Godall's
book, go the the indexex of http://asu.edu/indexes and you just might find it.

Wings of Desire is a German foreign film and is subtitled. I recommend that
you see it. CJ in NYC recommended it highly.

I love Matisse! :) A nice section in my Stokstad text "ARt History" I
believe.

well, I'm reading the "History of Canadian Music" by Helmut Kallman and
"Temoins de la vie musicale en Nouvelle - France" by Gallat-Morin.

Interesting stuff. I would actually prefer to be reading some Allison
Bechdel but alas, no time!

It seems easier to telnet into my Memorial University account to read the
newsgroup than try and read it from my Carleton account. :) No need to be
stressed about the old email address - you can write me at this one or my
carleton email (smo...@chat.carleton.ca)

Have a great day!
