OK, Cj, in case you're wondering, my absense from this and other
newsgroups was once the fault of (free) online poker. However there is
a new reason: My new infatuation with Youtube. Its my dream to,after
I'm clear of my medical bills, to create and upload a video.

my desire to be the Fellini of the 21st centuary hinges on my
purchasing the right(I.E cheap) vidocam. On a local news program there
was a story about several lesss than $250 models, that flipped open.
One model was from iconic Kodac. However this program failed to
mention the presense or absennse of a very importasn feature.

They do, though the audio quality varies. Read reviews
carefully before purchasing one.

Will do! I was impressed with the fact that the flip open cameras
didn't need a firewire. That came with a flipout jack that could be
plugged into your computer's USB port, BTW, on of the prposed videos
will be:
"Plan 9 From Translyvania." He,he,he! :-)
