Got questions for the 'Lost' honchos?
http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/entertainment_tv/2009/12/lost-abc-season-6-questions.html
I'll be interviewing Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, executive producers
of "Lost," in a couple of days. If you want to submit questions for them,
that'd be great. But please read these guidelines before posting your
questions in the comment area below.

Great. I can't get that image out of my head.
Somebody needs to do some PhotoShopping.
I knew you would 'appreciate' the pop reference humor, LOL

(BTW, I posted a question for Darlton, under a pseudonym, it will be
interesting to see which questions get a Darlton reply)
Why a pseudonym? Did he decide to never read any of your crap?
1. Do you envision any spinoffs from Lost? If not in the traditional
sense (AfterLost anyone?) then one that uses the mythology in a
completely different setting?
maybe like Caprica?
2. if you had the opportunity to do another serialized show what
would you request up front (eg a guarantee of 3 years)?
3. Is there another paradigm shifting show being planned? can you
give any hints on what would be different?

Be sure to post your questions at the bottom of this page:
http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/entertainment_tv/2009/12/lost-abc-season-6-questions.html
Maureen said she would stop taking questions soon (midnight tonight?), so
post the question and be aware it may take an hour or two for your
questions to appear on that page, because someone has to review questions
for appropriate content before making the post public. Goog Luck.

Yeah...thinbluetroll misled you. He's not interviewing anyone, except
himself. Posting your questions here won't get them submitted. You'll need
to follow the link and post your questions there where the real interviewing
can review them.

Your vitreol is showing
I posted on Chicago Tribune also. One of the best US papers from
maybe the best US big city
Okay, that doesn't even make any sense.
Mixed metaphor aside, I didn't even detect any vitriol at all. His
stupid, intentionally misleading post misled another poster in here,
and you just corrected it to make sure he went to the right place to
get his questions asked. How's that vitriol?

Oh, I get it now. He misspelled vitriol. Figures. No wonder it made no
sense.
Even so, I stand by my post. It was very misleading and I thought so at
it's first post but said nothing at the time because...what would be the
point? I guess I should have. I think he's just irked cause I called him a
troll, when all he really sees when he looks in the mirror is a decorated
General with a huge following on Usenet that hangs on his every word. It's
why I keep suggesting therapy.
This isn't the first time that bluetroll has done something like that,
and it was pointed out to him before as being confusing. As such, it's
obvious that he's doing it on purpose, probably in some sad attempt to
make any newbies think that he's connected to the show somehow.

Maureen Ryan does a short followup, prior to publishing the complete
interview transcript:
'Lost' photos and info found: A few thoughts from Cuse and Lindelof on the
end of the island drama
Last Friday, I talked to "Lost" executive producers Damon Lindelof and
Carlton Cuse for more than an hour, and I'll publish a complete transcript
of our conversation in a few weeks. I especially can't wait for you to
read the part about the Ewoks.

I found this part of the interview to be interesting:
QUOTE ON
Cuse said that "Lost" will unveil a "narrative technique" that is
"different" this season. He didn't elaborate on what the new
technique would be, but he compared the deployment of this Season 6
element to the show's use of time travel in Season 5: "Last year, we
committed to this concept of time travel with a certain expectation
that some people really might not respond to it. I think the most
pleasant surprise was how much people embraced it, because it was
difficult and it was much more overtly science fiction, and yet people
really seemed to like the season," Cuse said. "But we have the same
anxiety about what we’re doing this season. We kind of feel like the
fundamental tenet that we’ve tried to follow as storytellers is 'Be
bold.' But in being bold sometimes you fall on your face. So, we
committed to a narrative approach this season which we feel is bold
and it’s different than what we’ve done before. And if it works, it’ll
be exciting, but it might not be everybody’s cup of tea either."
QUOTE OFF
Sounds like alternate realities to me!! ;-)
