Please excuse the profanity, I normally avoid it like the plague on the
net, unless it serves a very specific purpose...and this time it does.

"I write because if I didn’t, I’d be branded a pathological liar.
Oh, and also because I’m still trying to make my dead father proud of me.
But that’s none of your goddamn business."

In September of 2001, the space station was manned by three people — an
American and Two Russians. As they were orbiting over the Northeastern
United States, the American called Mission Control to report that he could
see (with his naked eye) two massive pillars of black smoke rising up
through the atmosphere. When they answered back, explaining that the
black smoke was all that remained of the Towers, the American took a long,
sorrowful pause and responded – “I wish you hadn’t told me that.”

Here is his photo of the murderous event.

Actually, what I read is that he was told over private communications of
the events of that day, THEN they positioned the station to see and
photograph the area. In any case, Americans and the free world should
never forget...

I agree. And as long as Lost airs and has a smoke monster, I don't think
some of us will forget.

In this article, Damon is pissed, passionate, and maybe a lost prophet.
While writing is the subject, a hint at the Lost metaphor is present.

(thinbluemime....always exploring for the underlying metaphor....)

God Bless the "lying" Lozt Boyz!!!!!!!!

Yep. He's not joking. This was known.

If you've ever wondered why dysfunctional father relationships (Jack's
dad, Locke's dad, Kate's stepdad, Sun's dad) figure so prominently in
Lost, this is why: Because a dysfunctional father relationship had been
a prominent part of Damon Lindelof's life too.

Damon Lindelof's own dad had passed away just around the time that he
began to work on Lost in 2004, and Lost has enabled him to express in
his writing his mixed feelings about his own dad.

Just above the radius and ulna, and below the humerus.

David died in the spring of 2002. I'd been helping take care of him
shortly before he was hospitalized. I phoned and got no answer for a
couple of days. Our friend John, also a "Lost" fan, said he probably
just needed to rest. But it turned out the cleaning lady had found
him passed out in the bathroom.

The last time I saw Damon was when he delivered a multimedia eulogy
for David.

QUITE RIGHT! It was an attack on civilization and liberty,
which, (as Bush for once (surprisingly) got right), they hate.

Also, nice to see it called by its correct name, MASS MURDER,
not merely terrorism, which (to some) might have some remote
tincture of glamour or justification.

Sayid would have hung his head in shame!

PUKE!!!
